[Hello Haven. Have a familiar face for at least some of you. Wing has left the temple. It's clear he's got a lot on his mind; this city, what the Acolytes told him, that he's even alive, is a lot to take in. He decides to start with what he knows he'll need.]

Hello. If anyone could tell me of a decent place to stay, I'd really appreciate it.

[Drift turned and took a few steps, placing his hands on his hips. He needed a minute to clear his head, tuck some pent up emotion away. Frag this was hard.]

[apparently Drift didn't know what to say either, considering all he was managing was SORRY]

[Wing steps up behind him, off to one side. He starts to reach for Drift, hesitates, and then completes the gesture, resting a hand on Drift's shoulder.] You don't have anything to apologize for.

[Well, Drift doesn't shrug the hand off. That's a good sign. He does tense up a bit, though, but only for a couple seconds.]

I meant it, though. What I said.

[It was a very good sign. Still felt like kind of an odd one, but it was a good one. He'd been pretty good at reading Drift before, in that short span of time he'd known that mech. That was hours ago from his recollection, and it was impossible to completely disregard what he knew, to try to read this "new" Drift without trying to read the tendencies and mannerisms of the old. Still, it was a good sign.]

I know. [And he did. He was very aware that Drift meant every word.]

[Okay good, as long as Wing knew. Drift vented a soft huff and rubbed at his optics.]

This is still just... unbelievable. My aura's all out of alignment.

[oh yeah by the way welcome to hippy drift, wing. POPULATION: HIPPIES.]

.......what? [he can't help the way his optics flash in surprise and confusion. Did...he really just hear that come out of Drift? Primus the mech really had changed.]

What? Oh, come on! I'm serious!

[He's used to catching slag for it already BUT STILL]

Yes, I can tell. [he laughs.] That's what's got me so surprised!

Is it so hard to believe that I've been enlightened?

[he pauses, recalling the utter pain in the ass he used to be and kind of grimaces.]

...Actually, don't answer that.

Actually...no, not entirely, especially not if such a long time has passed for you. From my recollection, though, I last saw you only a few hours ago, this contrast is as strange to me as the rest of this place.

That doesn't mean I don't approve, it's just a little jarring.

That's such a strange thought. I must seem like a completely different person to you. I don't even look the same.

[Drift's at a bit of a loss for words, but he can't help a small grin of his own.]

Where are you staying? [Just because he was in the temple didn't mean he was staying there.] I was thinking of moving to this Hub place...apparently I helped design it. [sigh, feels so strange to be told he's been here before, he almost feels guilty that he can't remember people who clearly know him.]

I've just been staying here at the temple. I've only been here a short time, so I haven't really gotten around to deciding on living arrangements.

It's really strange though, isn't it? People saying that you've been here before, I mean. People were telling me the same thing when I first arrived.

It's very strange. I can't imagine when or how I could have been here before, but I feel bad that I don't remember these people who clearly know me.

Some of them were pretty upset. I know it isn't something I could have helped, but I still feel... I guess guilty about it?

Guilty...that's exactly it.

[He sighs.] I guess all we can really do is try to get to know these people...again. If they'll let us. [he hopes so. He's looking forward to meeting with Thundercracker later, he's one that seemed upset about Wing not knowing him.]

I don't think that will be too difficult. So far, most of the people I've talked to have been okay about it.

That's good. [There was one he was concerned about. Apparently he'd hurt the person quite a bit by not saying goodbye...]

So how long have you been here?

Not long. Couple of weeks? I'd just left the last ship I was on, and then suddenly I was here.

[he gives Drift a lopsided grin.] How about giving me a tour then?

Ah- I can, but I'm still learning my way around myself. I haven't... actually gotten out that much. I can show you the Hub and the library...
