☄ [Video] :: Location - Prima's Temple

[The boy stands near the entrance of the temple, his eyes closed as he extends a hand in front of him.

Bright light flashes before him, splitting into two as they begin to stretch out and take shape- humanoid shape. Their features become more distinct, color tinging their glowing forms, a young woman and spiky haired young man.

When Ventus opens his eyes, he brightens, unable to keep a smile from his face. His expression immediately becomes a little sad as he sees them both smile back, each holding a hand out to him. He can take those hands in his, squeezing them even though it's not the same. It's far from the same.

Lowering his head, he holds onto those hands, even as he lets their forms lapse and vanish.]

What even....how did you do that?

[The boy blinks as he lifts his head, glancing almost in surprise at the Link.]

...oh, I was just seeing if it would even work. It's...I guess the next step up in the abilities I got from Prima. I could make objects from light before, but now I can make copies of...beings, I guess you could say.

[What a special guy, Prima.] So he gave you the habitability to create holograms? Where those your parents?

I think that's what it was called, yeah...

-oh no, those were my friends! Aqua and Terra.

An interested ability, I think you are the only here who got it. [At leart that he knows.]

Make sense, I guess, they looked rather young.

I haven't seen anyone else practicing something like it, anyway...

[He shrugs.]

Ah, I guess they are. I don't think they're that much older than me, anyway.

Guess that only makes you extra special, Ventus.

You miss them, I take it.

I don't know about that...

[The boy smiles faintly.]

....yeah, I miss them a lot, actually.

Modesty. What a bad habit.

[Knock Out returns it with a smile of his own.]

Now you can see them often, even if they aren't here for real.

[Lea had been moving between the temples via Dark Corridors. Things outside were still a bit iffy for organics, even though cleanup was well underway, so it was best not to risk it just yet. Right now, he was just relieved that his friends were all safe.

He'd stepped out of the Dark Corridor a little ways away, so Ven didn't notice his approach immediately. Just as well, as it gave him a moment to just observe. The forms created in light must be of Ven's friends; he vaguely recognized Aqua from that long ago moment in Radiant Garden, but the man, who could only be Terra...

Lea had to suppress a wince. If there had been any doubts in his mind that Xehanort had stolen Terra's body, they were gone now; the shimmering image of the young man standing there looked like a few-years-younger version of Xemnas. It couldn't be a coincidence.

...But should he tell Ven? Would Ven even remember when he went home? Even if he did, would he be able to change anything, warn his friend somehow? Should he, even if he could, or would such an alteration to the past Lea knew have unexpected consequences?

He sighed. Time travel made things a hell of a lot more complicated...]

[It's sad to see them both gone, even if he knows that they hadn't even really been there, but he can't deny that pang in his heart as he's left alone again.

Hearing something, Ventus glances around, but it doesn't take long to spy his friend there. He turns, head tilting.]

Hey, Lea...

Hey, Ven. [small smile] That's a pretty neat trick you've got there.

I take it those were your friends?

[He smiles a little at that in turn.]

Yeah, it's something I just learned.

...mn. That was Aqua and Terra.

[That gets a bit of an amused smirk.]

You guys under Prima get all the good extras, I guess. I don't think any of us Megatronus guys got anything like that.

[The smirk soon softens back to a small smile, though.]

They look like they're good people.

I'm sure you'd get something at least. It only happens after certain points, I think...

[He glances at his arm, sliding the sleeve up a little although the edge of his glyph already shows just beyond its edge for how large it's gotten, not to mention quite shimmery.

Reflecting back on Aqua and Terra, the boy nods.]

They are. I...I really miss them.

Yeah, I guess. All I've gotten so far is a little pink outline around the edge. Nice to know I'm not all Megatronus' any more, but eh...

[He shrugs.]

They might still show up. I mean, who knows with this place, right? [pause] Things just keep getting weirder and weirder, it seems.

That's true. Never know what to expect.

[He nods, a very small grin tugging at his lips.]

I did. New ability from Prima?

[The brilliance of the light they were made from makes him wonder if it's a more powerful version of the light ball ability that he knows the boy has.]

Tell me a little about your friends?

[Because not like he doesn't understand missing those from home that he cares most about.]

Ah... Well, their names are Terra and Aqua. We've been through a lot together. They're also Keyblade users. Aqua was recently made a master, although I think Terra could have also been made one...

He's really strong. They both are. Whenever I was with them, I could believe I could do anything.

Nice. [He nods.]

[He won't say that you should - he's far too pragmatic ~~and just plain been through too much~~ for that - but . . . you should, kid.]
