[voice] Posting from the Solian sector

[ After being informed by Drift that biological warfare is still a Thing in at least one of the dimensions represented here, Ratchet's decided to play things safe in terms of infection control. This is why you're being treated to a voice-post, featuring the gruff voice of our favourite Autobot medic right now. ]

Right. Well. I don't care what kind of grudges you've got, but whether you're Autobot, Decepticon or something else, things like illness and contagious disease are an issue here, especially given our ... questionable resources. So, since there seems to be a sizable population of Cybertronians around, I'd request that any and all of you come find me if you're in need of medical attention. I can't promise to fix anything that ails you, but I can at least scan you and tell you what I'd need to fix things.

And I can promise that the longer you wait on finding me for medical attention, the more annoyed I will be that you waited. Keep that in mind if you're on the fence about things.

[ Yep. That was quite obviously a threat. Ratchet's a doctor, not a nursemaid. ]

That would be step one, yes. At least base-line scans shouldn't be impossible to obtain, unless any given individual would be disinclined to trust a medic... [Admittedly, for some medics, distrust was probably a good idea, but in general it seemed foolish.]

The bigger issue might actually be compability with tools and systems.

[That might actually be a rather big problem, in fact, causing Jetfire to frown to himself, rubbing his chin until Ratchet's question interrupts it.]

Ah, I am, yes; Jetfire.

[Have Jetfire actually switch to video, a small smile on his faceplates, and even if it's hard to see much of the room he's currently in behind him, it's quite clear it's a rather... big... jet.

Probably around the size of the Megatron Ratchet's used to, in fact.]
angleofscience: (probability of this being incidental...)

[permavideo] - because why not

Even if it's not, there might be help to get from our... ah, hosts. If anything, they're obviously already used to dealing with a variety of different universes and their inhabitants, so someone might know the basic differences between cybertronians of various realities.

[He shrugs, expression thoughtful, even if he's still... uncertain how to handle the fact that these are some of the original thirteen playing host to them.]

Ah. [He chuckles and nods.] I thought I recognized that voice. [Better to keep it simple than bringing up that he's already met a... variation of this Ratchet.]

If you gain any information from your inquiry, let me know?

[Jetfire shrugs, a small smile on his faceplates.]

The place I was before I came here... Well, let's say that you sound exactly like that Ratchet, and while the Ratchet I know from my reality sound somewhat similar, there's enough difference that I would hazard that you're closer to the one I've met earlier than my own.

[Without having some video to go on, that is.]

If I was told the same, it would probably be somewhat hard to accept as well, knowledge of other realities and versions of your spark or not.

[Jetfire's reaction is more of a dry chuckle, but at this point he probably wouldn't be overly surprised over versions of himself from the same (or near-similar) reality as he comes from... At least that, if time does not stay still, would explain how nothing would get disrupted.]

More than we might be ready to accept, sometimes.

[He can't exactly suppress the static sigh, and in the end, doesn't bother. He's learned, he's better at it... But not as much as he should perhaos be, not yet.]
angleofscience: (science science science!)

... I apologize and hope this makes sense.

[Jetfire shakes his helm and chuckles again.]

That it does. And while we can obviously gain alternates of individuals from other dimensions, I would surmise that dimensions only differing by superficial variations... such as me meeting another version of you, cannot be present at the same place and time due to being the same at the integral level...

Possibly energy frequencies of the dimension itself, as well as spark-frequencies of the concerned individuals would hinder the exact same individual from being present... as otherwise the similar frequencies would probably self-destruct by harmonizing.
