[He is going to try really hard to ignore that first part. The mention of McCrane helps that.]

And Deckerd and ... some guy named Kagerou. You know him at all?

[Driving now to the temple.]

[And he sets off at a jog to the exit of the building.]

[And coming up on his motorcycle, naturally, is Gunmax, but coming up behind him in his patrol car self is Deckerd.

Putting Gunbike into park, the green mech is stepping off and heading towards Drill Boy.]

Hey, soccer kid, about time.

[His arms kind of lift up, as if he almost debates going in for a hug -- but he cuts himself off at the last second to give Drill Boy a pat on the shoulder.]

[It's Deckerd who in fact, saunters right past Gunmax and does go in for a hug, patting Drill Boy before letting go and smiling.]

I'm glad you're unharmed. It's good to see you.

[Drill Boy smiles brightly and hugs back with his normal enthusiasm. When he's let go he doesn't waste a moment before giving Gunmax the hug he had looked like he was about to go for.]

Sorry, I didn't know you were waiting for me, Gunmax.

[His voice has a little bit of a teasing lit to it. He then looks back to Deckerd to respond to him as well.]

Yeah I'm alright, I had just got done being repaired from the fight with those Gunarm things before suddenly I was waking up here... is that how it happens every time?

[He keeps hold of Gunmax even while talking, simply because he can, and he is waiting for a return hug.]

Well, you were taking your sweet time.

[Aaaand he's getting hugged. Gunmax jerks his head back. Ugh, what a way to ruin his image. After a bit of huffing and waiting for Drill Boy to let go, it's pretty clear the kid won't.

Fine. The biker embraces Drill Boy, giving him a hearty thump on the back.]

Hm? Gunarm things?

[Deckerd just smiles. Looks like he got a hug out of Gunmax after all. He'll comment later, but for now.

He tips his head. Gunarm things?]

[He grins up at Gunmax once he gets his hug and finally lets the motorcycle cop go.]

Yeah, the Gunarms that the were talking about setting us up with, but when Boss talked to Commissioner Saejima they didn't do it. Then we ended up having to fight them cause the engineer that made them was mad we didn't want them.

[He explains it a bit fully, though it was a little weird that they didn't remember it considering they had all just got repaired from the damage that fight had caused.]
