Whaaaat? I didn't get any of what that guy said!

What is going on here? Why am I not at home?

Oh and if any of the other Brave Police are here... I'm apparent in some kind of temple for a Nexus Prime guy.

[... Simple but... accurate. Jetfire realises as the silence lengthens and Drill Boy stares at him that apparently nothing had been understood--]

Ah... yes. At its most basic, that's exactly what it is. It's a fair but more nuanced than that, of course, as there's more than one reality this is an alternate of, but... er. Yes.

[He kept from wincing at the simpleness of the understanding, but at least he wouldn't have to explain again?]

And I believe some of those you know are here, yes.
angleofscience: (confused - something isn't right here)

... Most people do, yes.

[Understandable for the most part, but it was all so interesting, so why anyone would prefer the basic stuff, he's not sure.]

Mm, let's see... I'm sure most will be clear on its own, but I recommend not venturing too far outside of the temples alone since the Link - which is what we're using the communicate - doesn't work over larger distances away from the Haven.

[As they've had some proof of.]
angleofscience: (say what? - I did calculations!)

As some of the structures that are around are underground, yes it does. It more seems to be an issue of distance away from the central "circle" the Haven makes. There are at the moment seven... hmn, temples with associated surrounding areas in the Haven, arranged like a circle around the central pile of... well, garbage, which is more or less directly underneath the Lamdba which we enter this reality from.

[Jetfire frowns slightly as he speaks, not exactly focusing on Drill Boy as he brings up the files of his own internal "map" of the area in a more "aware of it" way than what he usually uses when he's actively flying and using it.]
angleofscience: (... - stare)

[At that question, Jetfire frowns and takes a brief moment to flick through the replies and... well. That was expected. He shook his helm as he focused back on Drill Boy.]

It's very doubtful this is any sort of... hell, as Starscream said. He likes to exaggerate and I'm rather sure the majority, if not all of us, were perfectly alive prior to arriving here.

Alternate dimension or not, I'd surmise that's not true... [Jetfire then cocks his helm momentarily before he lets a static sigh out.]

And use some discretion when listening to Starscream. As I said, he likes to exaggerate and it's usually a good idea not to take him at face value.
angleofscience: (smile - as predicted!)

[Aw, that's sort of adorable. Jetfire chuckles and shakes his helm.]

If he actually needs help, it'd be obvious, you don't need to worry about that. Besides that, however, there might be some issues, yes... At least without knowing what to look for.

[And unfortunately, Drill Boy, you don't have or haven't had the time needed to learn exactly that.]<7small>
angleofscience: (battle is a science - but better at one)

Somewhat unfortunately, that's how he works, yes. Either way, it's good that we could set it straight... It would be unfortunate if you'd belaboured under a misunderstanding, though I think your companions would have explained things in the end?
angleofscience: (hmm - yes did you want anything?)

[He smiles and shakes his helm.]

Certainly. While I can't catch all the impossible things Starscream attempts to convince others of, I can minimise the damage when I do. Especially if they would have been unpleasant questions for your friends.
angleofscience: (awkward smirk - yes if you say so)

I can't see everything he does, and he is responsible for his own actions... But I try, nonetheless, to mitigate his effects when I can.

[It is indeed a very large task, and not one he could feasibly do... But he tries where he can.]
angleofscience: (smile - ahh well yes)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-10-05 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah... [He chuckles quietly but can't keep from shaking his helm, optics briefly wandering away.] I suppose so, but I don't think doing that makes me a good person... I simply know him.

[And has some level of influence over the prickly, egoistical Seeker.]
angleofscience: (smile - as predicted!)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-10-09 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
That is, however, true. [He smiles and shakes his helm again.]

Well, I should perhaps let you go reunite properly with your friends that already are here, yes?
