littlecrowgirl: (You can do WHAT?)

[Video] This is all so crazy!

[Kay's been a very busy girl. Not only is she meeting all sorts of robot friends, but she's been doing analysis. That's right. This girl has been doing STUDIES of you metal beings. Whether or not that's a good thing (pfft, seriously?) has yet to be decided, but you're going to find out the fruits of her labor today. The feed clicks on to show her in her room putting up pieces of paper to a bulletin board she found in the junkpile. Thankfully it came with tacks!  She takes a step back to admire her work, allowing the link to get a full glimpse of what she's been up to.

She notices that the Link is on after awhile, hurrying over to pick it up.]

Oh! Hi everyone! I'm actually glad you can see this! I was kind of thinking...ever since Teddie asked if Robots can score...Can robots make babies? I mean, you have to continue the robot race SOMEHOW, right?

I've even started investigating!  Mr. Edgeworth would be SO proud of me, because I've got a lot of evidence.  I'm doing that [swhing!] thing he does!  Okay, so like...do boy robots make the babies? They've got big chests unlike the girl ones, and Soundwave's even opens! Maybe that's where the babies come from.  So my theory is, the robot babies come out of the daddy's chest or stomach. It's the only explanation that fits!

[Her hand moves from the first page to the second page, giving a wide grin.]

This is my relationship chart. I can kind of see robots pairing up here, so I've written them down! But there's a lot of empty ones...I want to help you all find your robot boyfriends! Robrofriends? Is that a good word?  Either way, Just talk to ol' Kay here. She knows.

[And finally, her hand rests on that last page.]

These are just what I think some babies might look like! Pretty cool, huh? I think I remember somewhere that DNA is half and half of mom and dad, so I did that when making this. What do you guys think?

[Go on, admire her stupidity work.]
angleofscience: (inquisitive - how much data?)

That makes sense, and is very useful... Humans where you're from have achieved reliable holographic technology, then?

[Let's just slide over the fact that she most probably uses this for less than legal pursuits.]

... The truth? [He tilts his helm, a frown settling on his faceplates.] How, precisely, do you do that, then? Considering that even the most objective group of observers will still each have a slightly different point of view on any given situation... Even if that difference is merely from the angle from which they observed the situation.
angleofscience: (er - let me process that...)

Interesting... and yet you've gotten that device easily? One would think, if it's rare technology, that it wouldn't be something easily... ah, gotten.

[How did you get it, Kay, hmm?]

I suppose that does make sense, but does it count if the evidence is gained by subterfuge?
angleofscience: (talking - science is relevant)

It's all right; even if he was, it'd be your choice, since it's yours.

[He probably didn't pick up on the possible mood change, so the potential sensitivity in deferring about asking is completely incidental.]

I would agree, certainly. [Jetfire nods, and then shrugs, crossing his arms.] I was merely under the impression that usually, official proceedings like trials would require a particular... standard in how the evidence was procured.
angleofscience: (battle is a science - but better at one)

One would hope that merely means the suspect is guilty all the times they've been found so... commendable, really.

[He shakes his helm slightly, not much he can say about that as he has no idea of human criminal proceedings and trials, and has never bothered to look too deeply into what they had had before the war.]

Sounds like you are doing a good job, then.
angleofscience: (smile - sweeter than usual)

[Too adorable. Jetfire chuckles and nods, a smile growing in response to Kay's own.]

I'm sure you'll be able to get there, with as good a role model as he surely is to you.
angleofscience: (smile - patience is a virtue after all)

[He'd be concerned he'd done something wrong, except the expression is still clearly happy.]

Certainly. You've got years yet until you're even a full adult as per human biology, and you're already working towards it, so I see no reason why you wouldn't.

[A bit optimistic, perhaps, but on the other hand... why not? He's not exactly sure how human learning and proficiency works, but still.]
angleofscience: (smile - ahh well yes)

[She's very cute, but how do you handle things like that? In the end, while he's still smiling, Jetfire just nods slightly, feeling somewhat awkward.]

You certainly have an inquisitive mind, which won't hurt.

[That's what it all started with after all.]
angleofscience: (smile - as predicted!)

[Had they..? Jetfire pauses to review the the conversation and... ahem, no. It seems they didn't. His vocaliser fuzzes briefly in slight embarrassment.]

I believe we didn't. I'm Jetfire.

[He tilts his helm in something of a greeting, even if it was... kind of late at this point.]
