[it is still not decepticon to admit weakness so this post sounds hella jovial]

Next time it looks like I want an all-expenses paid vacation to Cybertron-knows-where, I'm not going to risk it. I'll just book a few days off from whatever it is stressing my processor and do the mountain retreat thing. Or drink.

So. Giving due credit to the planet for an overdue and pretty decent assassination attempt - I think, still a little fuzzy on that, I'll get back to you - what else have I missed? [the hug cues a surprised grunt, but he doesn't resist--or try to keep Blurr in it longer than he wants to be. He gives the small Autobot a look of surprise bordering on amusement.]

I don't like that idea any more than you do, but it's Soundwave's decision. [As Starscream loosely defines Decepticon ideals as personal freedom unless it's incredibly inconvenient and then people should do what he says] He's a little more aware of the danger now, I think it might help him to face it. He's a soldier where it counts.

[Blurr is trying very hard not to respond to that look.

He doesn't look very happy when he listens to Starscream's opinion on the bait idea but it's something to be expected.] I KNOW he is but Prism is really dangerous. But...if you all think is the only thing we can do then alright.

...and Blurr's secretly not so annoyed, because ey he's really glad to have you back.]

[this time he's ready for it, and wrapping his arms around the lithe little racer in return, he talks right into his audial] You sure showed me.

[He tenses in surprise for a secodn but it doesn't last more.] I t-told you I was not scared.

[He doesn't attribute the tension to anything serious, like claustrophobia--it doesn't occur to him yet, all the little clues together, including the sleeping outside. He just thinks maybe Blurr isn't comfortable around him yet, since he's a Decepticon, since he disappeared, since his name is Starscream and in some circles that's a byword for treachery.

He lets Blurr go again, quirking a smile.]

I know I'm a pain in the aft sometimes. Thanks for putting up with me.

[Soundwave got the same reaction when he hugged Blurr for the first time. hugs are at least something he can get used to quickly. Enclosed rooms, not so much. It's nothing personal.

He smiles back.] Someone needs to do it. [His voice is softer, clearly joking.] I'm happy to have you back.

I eh..I mean...SOUNDWAVE was missing you a lot.
