He plays around with it a little, and accidentally turns on the video function. Tiny optics blink out onto the network, and he continues fiddling around with it until he manages the texting function.]

Republic City...it's really huge, with tall buildings spreading all around. There's all sorts of peoples and sounds and sights and smells. And at night, all the lights start up and when you see it from just the right spot, the whole city just really glows. And it's--really hard to explain, actually....

[Especially since homesickness is stabbing through her again.]
