[Well... okay he's never seen anything like this before. Is it like a typewriter? Because he knows how to use a typewriter. Four doesn't really understand what a "network" is, but he's determined to find out. He's been told that this will help him communicate with others, and... as frightening as that is, he really, really, really wants to talk with people.

Even the robots, who he figures can't all be bad...

He plays around with it a little, and accidentally turns on the video function. Tiny optics blink out onto the network, and he continues fiddling around with it until he manages the texting function.]

My name is 4. There are a lot of machines and living things here. I have never seen anything like you before. can you answer some of my questions please?

Despite wanting to use the network to reach out to these machines, Four still feels alarmed now that he gets to actually talk to one. This is mildly frightening.]

[Four reminds himself that he's in Liege's fortress, and nothing can get him here.

What are you? I have seen machines before, and they do not have faces like you do.

[That's what gets him the most about the machines here... they have faces. Not only that, they talk and some of them even have nice voices. This place is so strange, yet wonderful in the sense that it's filled with so many mysteries.]

[Korra snickers, but of course that's not conveyed. She types, slowly--she's not used to typewriters.]

I'm B-L-U-R-R it's nice good to finally know your name and yes yes I think we are all lost in a way but most of us aren't machines we are autonomous robotic organisms and NO ONE built us that's a common misunderstanding we were born. Feelfreetoask! I am all ears.

[Wing has a great deal of patience, and a very gentle smile.]

We share some similarities with machines, in that we are primarily made of metal with mechanical moving parts, but we are alive.

We are all intelligent, free-willed individuals. Having faces...makes it easier to tell each other apart. [A warm amber optic flashes as he winks.]

[Four is almost instantly comforted by the gentle tone and the nice smiles. There's the possibility that the machine is lying to him, but he decides to give it the benefit of the doubt.]

[Four is immediately intimidated by the aggressive looking face, but he replies as bravely as he can.]
