I'm positively and without possibility of any doubt the fastest land-based mech on any side I can even outrun some mech with jet modes too. I am quite glad that you asked that! ...since things are a bit complicated right now in this planet now that both factions are here together. Autobots are one of the two factions that were created during the great war. AS A faction the Autobots include those who defend their species against and oppose to the Decepticons either are they mechs or other sort or creatures. I could give you a detailed explanation of what happened but that will take us hours and there's really no point on focusing on the saddest part of the past so long story short the Decepticons want to rule our planet and the rest of the galaxy without caring about who they have to destroy to accomplish that goal and that's W-H-Y we Autobots made the promise to fight them and protect those in danger.

Optimus prime is the leader of a small Autobot team located in Detroit, 4earth, that I had the mission to keep and eye on.

The same way human don't like being called monkeys we don't enjoy being called machine because IT IS NOT an accurate term WE have a conscience and a mind on our own WE were born no one built us. WE are not an it.
