[I hope you like sobbing bears because that's exactly what you're getting right now. Teddie looks pathetically into the screen with what appears to be a...kazoo in his mouth, held in the same manner one would comically hold a cigar.

He probably found that thing in the junk pile. Ew. I hope he at least washed it before sticking it in his mouth...]

Is there anyone not going crazy right now?! 'Cause I don't know how long I can bear this!

[At first it was kind of funny, but after dealing with being on the other end of mood swings and sudden dinosaurs, it's becoming just a little too much. It'd be nice to know if there's at least someone out there who's a tiny bit stable. Who woulda thunk this would be so stressful?

He ends his message with a cute little note from the kazoo.]

All right, Big Bear. I'll c'mon over and give you a lift, okay? I'll play some excellent rock an' we can chill.

[He wipes his big bear eyes with one of his paws, his kazoo making stupid kazoo noises thanks to the sobbing.

He nods.]

[Fortunately for Teddie, this completely breaks his ember and he thinks it's sort of really precious, bloobloobloo.]

That's my strong, brave bear.

[Thank god someone tolerates this nonsense. As soon as Soundwave says he's on his way, Teddie hurries his little feet out of that joint as fast as his legs can take him. Sadly, that's not very fast and eventually he probably tripped and rolled the rest of the way out. Regardless of his travel methods, he is out there and waiting, if not a little out of breath.]

[Eventually! A band van pulls up and the front passenger door swings open. The interior is blasting rock music, as promised; some variation on KISS, no doubt.

There's a joyful honk from Soundwave's horn.]

Hey! C'mon in, little dude.

[It's a lot to take in, actually. Teddie doesn't listen to a lot of rock music, especially American. It makes his ears twitch and it reminds him a little of Kanji's cellphone ringtone. It's actually kind of nice to have something slightly familiar, even if it is Kanji-related.

But that's not important. This is a car ride.]

[CAR RIDE CAR RIDE CAR RIDE or van. Same thing.

Teddie rushes in, making noises just as joyful from his kazoo as he tries to fit himself in there. Vehicles just weren't exactly designed with egg-shaped bodies in mind.

Teddie doesn't seem to care, however, as he admires just about everything he can see. He's a very easily impressed bear.]

This is fantastic!

[The door closes after Teddie rushes inside.]

Heh! Glad you approve.

Do you know how to put on a seatbelt, little dude?

You definitely get the Teddie seal of approval. I--Seatbelt?

[Teddie looks around, already his lack of motor vehicle knowledge is showing. The train and bus didn't have seatbelts...

Not to say that he didn't know of them, he just never used one before.]

Heh, then I am totally honored, Big Bear.

Yep. There's a belt hanging up there to your right. Pull it down to the buckle to the your bottom left of the chair. Okay?

[Teddie grabs the belt and pulls it quickly, only to accidentally let go and somehow manage to smack his face with it.

Rinse and repeat.

Once he FINALLY gets a good grip, he struggles with trying to get it around is large, round body. These seatbelts are clearly some kind of demon...]

Nngh... This is a lot harder than it looks like...

Heh, you just practice with that. An' be careful! I don't want you accidentally hurting yourself again.

[He continues to try... and fail. Thankfully he has enough sense to avoid getting smacked with it by now.]

I dunno, there really isn't much here, is there? I wish this place had a Junes, then we could play in the carts or something. I don't think that bar is open, either.

[Okay, this seatbelt is getting ridiculous. With a frustrated groan, Teddie finally gives up and starts to unzipper his head like it's a completely normal thing to do. Vehicles are clearly not bear friendly.]

[Once he throws off the bear head and slips out of the remainder of the suit, he presses his back flat against the seat and buckles that belt like a freakin' pro. TAKE THAT.]

There!! I conquered the belt.

Oh.

[He keeps driving.]

WH-WHAT THE FRAG??

Is that a normal organic thing? You're a human? You're a human! Oh my ember you're not a bear!

I am so confused right now!

[Teddie's eyes look back and forth as he taps his fingers together awkwardly.]

It's... it's a long story--BUT LOOK! I got the belt on.

[HE DID SUCH A GOOD JOB, let's not make this weird.]

W-well... good job on the belt!

Wow this is. ... Well, it's different, but that's not bad!

But if you ever wanna tell me what that's about sometime, I'm down for that? You're still the same dude I met, yeah?

I dunno who else I would be.

[There's a nervous chuckle. Oh, he'd tell you, Soundwave, if he didn't have such a hard time explaining it before. He feels like it's best just to leave it alone.

He grabs his kazoo and sticks it back into his mouth.]

I still think we should do something fun. OH! I haven't found a tambourine yet.

Then I guess it's no big deal. So long as you're still you, Big Bear.

[And that's all that genuinely matters to Soundwave. If Teddie is still the same, just more human and less bear, then that's okay.

It just surprised him so much!]

Then we totally gotta find a tambourine! Since we gotta have a musical get together sometime, yeah?

[Teddie claps his hands together once excitedly.]

Exactamundo! You... you have no idea how much that'd mean to me.

No problemo, dude. Let's go instrument huntin'.

I'm gonna go ahead an' pull over to the junk pile so we can go poking for awhile, okay? But if you get tired, I'm bringin' you somewhere to rest proper.

Not to worry, I'm a poking master.

...But, thank you...

[He's honestly touched. It's almost amazing to him that this is the same Soundwave who was such a downer last time.

He also starts to gather up his things so he doesn't accidentally leave them in Soundwave or something. Now that would be weird.]
