Nngh, does anyone know where a bear can take a bath around here? I'm talking about a real bath, too. Baths shouldn't be so much work! They're supposed to be relaxing and were once my favorite part of the day. Now I feel like I gotta hike it just to get some water and THEN hope it's not freezing.

There's an injustice in there somewhere.

So what's up? Time to come clean! At least tell me where I can get a tub or something, anything!! I don't think I can buy that with all these nice, fancy temples that there isn't a single bathroom. Someone's probearly hiding all of them at this rate.

Along with all the fridges.

And TVs.

And stoves.

AND EVERYTHING!

I'm not sure how this was gonna upset me. In fact, I like you waaaay more as a person.

[No, it's the lying that he finds more upsetting. He could stay angry and hold a grudge over it, but since she is allowing him to use the shower, he's just going to set it slide.

...He'll just complain to Starscream instead.]

Well that's. Good. I had no idea you were a human under that suit, either, you know.

[She just. Goes to sit on her couch and sigh into her hands.]

Sorry for lying, Teddie. Go take your shower.

[This is so weird.]

[And he wasn't the one trying to cut his arm off. It's not exactly something you can compare evenly.

But he shuts his mouth after seeing her go to the couch, judging from her mood that maybe now's not the time for his nonsense.

He'll just...slip in the shower and behave for now.]

It's ah. Yeah.

[She's just gonna sit here wile you shower and try not to feel awkward.]

[Eventually he finishes, for the most part, the awkwardness of the situation making him too uncomfortable to get into any detailed cleaning. He'll just have to wash his suit another day. Instead, he sheepishly slinks out, looking over at Vandal apologetically. He didn't mean to make this weird.]

Are you gonna be okay?

Who me?

Yeah. I'm always okay.

[She grins.]

It's a little weird but uh. I guess I just feel bad.

Teddie... why do you wear a bear suit all the time? I've gotta know.

['Always okay'. You know, if he were somebody else, he'd probably mention how going crazy over the feed is probably a good sign of someone not being okay.

As it stands, however, her question ends up throwing him off and he just sort of stares awkwardly. After what just happened, he doesn't really want to lie to her... but at the same time, he's not sure how to explain it.]

Really? Because you sure do look like a kid to me.

[She offers him a very incredulous smile.]

It's kind of a really long story...

I'm an engineer where I come from. My suit is called a RIG. It's what all engineers wear since we typically have to do work in extreme environments like space and zero gravity.

[Whether or not he's purposely avoiding having to explain himself or just forgot because he's genuinely excited over Vandal being 'like an astronaut' is up for debate.]

Uhhh... haha. Not really. A spacer. Meaning I've lived in space all my life.

So uhh. Permanent astronaut, I guess?

[She's not letting the bear thing go.]

[A permanent astronaut is still an astronaut in his eyes, which by the way have grown quite wide in awe.]

That's amazing, all my friends are gonna be so jealous that I know a permanent astronaut! Did you ever go to the moon? Is there really a man on there? Or rabbits? I want a moon rabbit. Did you ever talk to Major Tom?

[Well. She's not really quite this enchanted about space, but it's cute that he is.]

Heh... no. I've never been to earth, actually. Never been on a real planet before this one. But uh, no... no rabbits from what I hear.

Who's Major Tom?

[Sorry she's from The Future, the pop culture is lost on her a little...]

[His enthusiasm slowly starts to go down, but he still seems pretty happy. There's just a lot less questions now.]

Major Tom's the astronaut friend of David Bowie. ...I think. I'm not really sure, he does sing about him, though. I'll have to ask Yosuke about it sometime...

[Then he stops, the 'never been to earth' suddenly registering in his head and his smile fades.]

You've...really never been to earth?

Oh... uh. Huh...

[A shrug.]

Yeah. I was born on a ship.

[He can't believe how easy she's taking this. ]

That's terrible! You gotta see it, it's like the best place ever. There's a sky!

It's not so bad...

[Well, she doesn't really know what she's missing.]

Well. There's a sky here?

Nnngh, but it's not the same. I remember seeing the sky for the first time, and trust me, it's just better. A million times better! I really wish you could see it...

[And then he can't help but wonder that maybe he can recreate it somehow.]

Ah, well. Not really something that'll happen. I plan on living here from now on.

[She gives him a smile anyways, he seems really bothered by it.]

[The pouting doesn't last long, thankfully, and in fact his mood suddenly does a complete turn around. He actually looks a little determined, if anything.]

That's okay, you can keep living here! I just got an idea~
