[You ever have the urge to do something you know will probably come back to bite you in the end? Well sometimes they end up being more profitable than anyone bargains for. Swindle's not one to allow himself to limited to morals or factions, heavens no. He makes his messages with a bright cheerful grin and his usual smooth tone.]

Now now, all this legal business really wears me down, you know what I'm saying? Paint, gears, gasoline... all well and good! But it's hardly my main area of business. Now if I know Decepticons, you all appreciate a good working weapon, am I right? I have nothing but the best for my customers! But I have an absolutely irresistible deal for all of you!

[Slipstream likes a good arsenal as much as the next Decepticon, but while she has lasers and blasters, she doesn't have any special shielding. Won't hurt to get some specifics.]

[She's by no means the smooth talker Swindle is, and not even as charming as Starscream and Sunstorm, but she's trying to be persuasive.]

Oh of course I do! And it's available to you for a certain price~ I have basic force fields that can do an excellent job at blocking most types projectile and laser weapons, and they have a pretty decent lifespan.

[Right! Slipstream had known of Swindle, the way she had known Megatron was the faction leader, before seeing him for herself, but they haven't met. Sometimes the bits of data transferred from her creator feel like they could be hers.]

[He pauses for a moment and seems to be thinking about something very carefully. Swindle's a bit of a... specialist? On Starscream clones at this point ~~because that isn't creepy at all~~, so he can't help but be a tad bit suspicious. No matter though, that has nothing to do with anything right now.]

What kind of job? It's not like I'm against teamwork, but I'm not gonna just agree to do anything.

And if you do an ok job with that, maybe we'll see if we can't get you to do other sorts of things too. Out of curiosity, how well do you think you can fight? You don't have any experience in engineering do you?

Deliveries? Isn't that overkill? [Sending an elite warrior on simple errands?! Should she just go with it, or aim for something better?]

You think a bot like Blitzwing or Sunstorm has strategic sense enough to hold out even a klik against an Omega Sentinel?! Did Lugnut shoot the Prime with wing-envy out of the sky?! Did Ramjet disarm Megatron in battle?!

[She's not the egomaniac, really, but it does feel insulting to be sent on such mundane chores, particularly by a bot with some kind of all-terrain ground alt. It's just not efficient distribution of work to her.]

Lets just say, I'm not exactly bad in a fight, and if you want a basic explosive device, or something to be aerodynamic, I can probably figure it out. I might just whip up a special blend oil. [Granted her cocktail recipes are highly experimental at present.]

[If Swindle's fazed by her outburst he doesn't show it.]

Well, let's look at this from my point of view! You say you're from Air Command, but I've never heard of you, and you can say that I have connections there. That either means that you're, as organics say it, as green as they come, or you're from some obscure squadron. Or maybe I just never noticed you, you never know!

Whatever the case, I need to know what you can do first before I give you harder jobs. You gotta start from the bottom just like everyone else. I do admit that your resume sounds quite impressive though.

[Hm, her skills seem to be good build blocks for more sophisticated things later on, Swindle decides that perhaps he struck gold with this one.]

How about I teach you a thing or two about my trade? You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone else with my knowledge of weapons, even in a place like this~

Well, I admit it's hard to run a business out here, but I'm nothing if not adaptable! I currently use a barter system, which is doable! I prefer a monetary system though, but what can you do right?

Well I haven't actually fought in. A really long time, honestly. And I've only ever had the blasters, they're standard-issue for Vehicons. But. Medium- or long-range probably, at least.

I think a proton burst rifle may be what you're looking for! It's a decent weapon, medium ranged, and pretty sturdy...

Buuut, if you're feeling ambitious, I could let you have my triple crusher cannon~ With that your enemies will definitely think twice before trying to mess with you, that's for sure!

Huh. Uh... well I guess the first question I'd have to ask is how heavy are they both? I'd hate to be in the middle of a fight and get swarmed because I couldn't handle the weight of the weapon...
