That's where I fell out of, huh?
[The feed shows a blurry, unfocused shot of the Lambda. From the tint of the sky, this is probably being recorded somewhere near Prima's temple. The view switches to a wary-looking human in scuffed brown robes; she's frowning and looking up at the glowing tear in the sky.]
I guess I'll buy it. I've never seen anything like that. Pretty, though.
[She shakes her head, at last looking down at the camera.]
My name is Revan. If you recognize that name... all I can say is I'm not who you think I am.
Bastila, if you're here: Come in, please. I haven't seen anyone from our happy little family, so I'm hoping they're with you.
[There's an edge to her tone. Revan's sense of the Force has been muted since she woke up—not gone, just strangely muffled. With luck, that's the only reason why she can't detect the other Jedi's presence, but Revan doesn't make a habit of trusting to luck.]

Revan. I'm Drift.
Isn't there any way to get off-planet and get a closer look?
Hi. Are you from this place, or did you get dumped here too?
[That might be a stupid question, but nothing ventured nothing gained.]
[He laughs.] That's a hard question. This is Cybertron, but it's not my Cybertron. Some alternate past, I think.
But I got dumped here. Literally. Flat on my face in the Junk Pile.
[a sympathetic wince.] Guess I won't complain about waking up in that temple. I'm still having a hard time believing this isn't some elaborate hallucination. It wouldn't be the first time.
[A laugh.] I don't know about you, but my imagination couldn't come up with anything like this.
Well... didn't you say this is a version of your planet? Out of the two of us, you're really more likely to hallucinate this place.
From what I've heard we're here but we're also back there. Things happen after we're pulled here back in our worlds and we're there, doing things. [He is not great at quantum science and displacement. That's what Perceptor's for.]
Oh, maybe this place. But I've seen Cybertron look way worse. And I don't think I could have made up the Brave Police, or Prism. Or the sharkticon things.
Okay, now you're messing with the newbie. I mean—fair enough, alien world, doesn't have to rely on recognizable logic, but... [yeah, quantum science isn't on the curriculum at the Jedi temple, either.] ...sharkticon?
[Ma'am you are talking to a robot who has emotions and facial expressions, logic left us a loooooong time ago.]
That's what they called them. Big. Robot shark things. Lots of teeth. Like. Rows of them. Plural.
Oh. Also giant spiders. [While he's giving you the tour of the local fauna.]
Re: [video]
[In the meantime Revan's just gonna.
drop her head into her hands.]
I should've just not gotten out of bed this morning.
I'm sorry? It's really not that bad here. [Sort of.]
Do you need anything?
Or—there's a pilot, wears an orange jacket, he's in his late thirties. Are you sure you haven't seen them?
[Revan's clearly not expecting a positive answer, but she has to ask.]
Absolutely positive.
[She looks for a moment as if she's about to hit something, and forcibly calming down. There is no emotion, there is peace.]
Thanks anyway. What do I call you? [Indicating the cards.] Are you some kind of gambler?
You run into a lot of card players in port towns. What's your game of choice?
Why would you say that?
Why would you take his name?
And what makes you think I would choose to be Darth Revan if I had the choice?
Who's this "he", anyway?
Unless my recollection betrays me, Revan was not a woman.
But this place continues to alter my own perception.
[Well, giant robots and other strange things -- multiple universes among them. So maybe ...]
You know, I've had a lot of people question my identity. This is the first time anyone's objected on grounds of gender.
[Unless the Council changed a lot more than she thought they did, which... no, someone would've mentioned it. Probably.]
Listen, did Malak put you up to this?
[He was still wrapping his brain around her being Revan.]
[There's more than a hint of bitterness there.]
Gone, you say. How long?
Roughly 300 standard years.
[He snorts and shakes his helm.]
Don't recognize the name... either of 'em, so I'm not sure your friend's here either...
[she mulls on this for a moment.]
That's... all to the best, then. Means she isn't stranded here too. I hope they had the sense to get out of the Forge instead of look for me.
Dunno if it's a mystery worth explorin', but yeah, doesn't make sense since the rift itself is up in the sky for Primus' sake.
They might not notice you're gone. [Frowning, Cliffjumper leans back against the wall behind the berth, crossing his arms - in his room at the moment instead of out exploring.] I've been elsewhere, in other places similar to this, an' while we can't know if this place works the same as that...
You get people comin' from different points in time, I even have mechs here I know that come from earlier than what I do, one of 'em's even supposedly been gone for over a year? But he's not been for me, so...
[He shrugs. It's hardly his area of expertise, and he likes to hold onto it as a hope.]
[Story of Revan's life, really, asking too many questions. Speaking of...]
So... if we return, we'd go back to right when we left? [That's comforting, but that "if" could be any amount of time from now, for all they know.] Say, how long have you been here?
At least it seemed to work that way in the other place I was stuck in before this one, but who knows. [He grimaces and shrugs.] Little over an orn... uh, a month, by now. Nearing a year Earth-wise if we add onto the time I've been stuck elsewhere.
[And even longer than that if he'd count all the time he's been in any other universe than his own, but he's sort of adopted the negative polarity one by now, so he doesn't.]
That long, huh? That's... pretty rough. I'm sorry.
[Revan isn't sure what "Earth" is, much less how long its orbital cycles are, but she can take a hint.]
[Cliffjumper shrugs, and maybe he should've considered the possibility she wouldn't know what Earth is - he has met aliens who are extremely human-like after all, but all of the humans he's met so far have come from Earth, so.]
An' by the way these things seem to work your friends should be back whereever ya call home, unaffected by all this.
[Vague gesture around them.]
