[The video clicks on far too close to Blades' face as he seems to be squinting at something. Realizing the camera is on, he blinks and backs up, hurrying to put a smile on his face.]

Hello! Hi everyone out there! I'm Blades. So, I guess we're all a little lost, or something? I don't know, some guy just told me I was in a lamb or something... looks like Cybertron to me. At least... sort of. There aren't all the cities and buildings and lights, but I know Cybertron like... Well, like home.

[A soft sigh as he wonders what home is exactly right now. Griffin Rock feels the most like home. But no time for that. A slight shake of his head brings him back to the here and now.]

Anyhow, if anyone sees my teammates, I'd appreciate it. There's a fire truck named Heatwave, a police car named Chase, and a bulldozer named Boulder. They're all really nice and I miss them. Of course, seeing as I heard we're stuck here, I'd love to get to know some of you too! I'm always up for making new friends. I've been so busy pretending to be a robot lately, it's been hard to talk to people.

[Oh, maybe he shouldn't mention that. Oops. A sheepish smile before he continues.]

Yeah. So... Hi again, and bye for now! [An enthusiastic wave and the screen blinks out.]

Oh, it's very scary. You see... I'm afraid of flying. I wasn't a helicopter before I went to Earth, so it was a very different experience.

[And the only reason he was a helicopter was because he was the youngest and got to "choose" last.]

Some were dangerous, like fighting this big machine called a Morbot, but some are pretty tame, like getting Mr Pettypaws down from... well, wherever he's climbed today. And then sometimes it's exciting, like the time I caught a lion midair!

...Scared of flying? Flying isn't that scary... Not scarier than fighting big machines or lions, at least.

Do you fly?

[Blades had never heard of a flying bear before. Then again he didn't know they could talk either.]

Well, I didn't fight the lion... Just caught it. I don't really like fighting in general.

I have flown, yes.

I dunno why you'd want to catch a lion. They aren't exactly nice kitties.

It had to go back to the animal shelter. It was scaring everyone.

But you weren't scared.

Well of course I was scared! My teammates were on the ground with that thing and what if it got them? But I wasn't scared for me. Lions can't fly, after all.

[He pauses, considering this.]

Huh. I guess flying has some advantages.

You see~? Most people only dream of flying. You got a gift! You should express it, LOVE IT. For that is the essence of youth.

I've never seen a real lion before, but I...uh...seen some stuff like them. Not so nice.

Well they can have it. Maybe I can take a ground alt now that we're back on Cybertron.

[If he ever left this temple.]

Oh yeah, so what about your rescues? Tell me about them, please?

Our rescues? ...Well, what we would do is go into my world through the TV and save the people before they got killed by the Shadows. Let me tell you, bub, it got pretty scary. Those Shadows really liked to turn into some terrifying things.

[He truly believes that this is all understandable.]

You go into the television?!

[And then it hit him.]

Shadows can hurt you?! I TOLD Heatwave I thought there was something funny about them!

[He starts looking frantically around his room at the shadows, which are thankfully few, half in fear and half daring them to try something.]

Nnnnngh.

[His ears flicker again.]

Not THOSE shadows! Those are fine. THESE Shadows are...um...are like monsters. That's just what they're called.

[After a moment, Blades calms down, though he still keeps giving the shadows shifty eyes.]

You promise there are none of those here?

Abso-positively! They're only in my world...as far as I can tell. I don't think they're smart enough to figure out how to get out.

And... They're only in the television?

[Pleassayyespleassayyes]

Yup. That's the only way to get in there.

Oh good.

[He finally relaxes for real now.]

So how do they hurt people if they're only in the tv?

By some big jerkwad who keeps throwing people in there!

[He looks irritated, although it's not towards Blades.]

Me and my pals have been working towards figuring out who the heck it is. It's like a mystery~ ...Only a whole lot scarier. Some people really did die...

Oh that's not good at all! I hope we can get you back to your team so you can solve the mystery and save people.

[Not that Blades' own team would miss him...]

Trust me, I'd love nothing more. I'd even go back to doing stock duty.

You should get back to your team, too. Teams shouldn't be apart! It's like...the number one team rule!

I agree with you there! But like I said before, maybe we should make our own team here?

[Really, he just wants to feel like he belongs somewhere.]
