[The video clicks on far too close to Blades' face as he seems to be squinting at something. Realizing the camera is on, he blinks and backs up, hurrying to put a smile on his face.]

Hello! Hi everyone out there! I'm Blades. So, I guess we're all a little lost, or something? I don't know, some guy just told me I was in a lamb or something... looks like Cybertron to me. At least... sort of. There aren't all the cities and buildings and lights, but I know Cybertron like... Well, like home.

[A soft sigh as he wonders what home is exactly right now. Griffin Rock feels the most like home. But no time for that. A slight shake of his head brings him back to the here and now.]

Anyhow, if anyone sees my teammates, I'd appreciate it. There's a fire truck named Heatwave, a police car named Chase, and a bulldozer named Boulder. They're all really nice and I miss them. Of course, seeing as I heard we're stuck here, I'd love to get to know some of you too! I'm always up for making new friends. I've been so busy pretending to be a robot lately, it's been hard to talk to people.

[Oh, maybe he shouldn't mention that. Oops. A sheepish smile before he continues.]

Yeah. So... Hi again, and bye for now! [An enthusiastic wave and the screen blinks out.]

I live on Earth on an island called Griffin Rock. We rescue people, but they're not ready to know that we can think for ourselves. [Humans. Oh well.]

That is the benefit of finding none of your friends here. At least they aren't stuck here as well.

Oh! So you're from Earth too. Or rather, you're stationed there? Or--sorry--were? [He huffs.] At anyrate. That's interesting since I've never been there, though I know mechs and humans who have.

So your function is to rescue people? That's wonderful. It's must be very fulfilling work. So, it's the humans who aren't ready to know you're Cybertronian?

[Benefit? And here Blades had been wishing at least one of his teammates was there. Selfish. Oops.]

Yes, I am--was--whatever, stationed on Earth. It was nice and peaceful, aside from my job, and I liked it a lot. I guess... All good things have to come to an end though, huh? [Did they really? Blades thoughts good things should go on forever.]

Yup! I like it. It makes me happy to see people reunited with their loved ones after a harrowing escape from the edges of death! Or, well, I just like helping people. I don't blame the humans. If I hadn't known about alien life forms before, I'm sure I would be confused by smart robots too. [Sometimes he still is anyhow. Like Whirl and Frenzy.]

[As have most others. Tis a bittersweet thing.]

I'm glad you liked it on Earth. I've heard a lot about it, I'd love to visit someday. [He taps his chin.] Good things don't have to come to an end, but if they do, it leaves room for more good things in their place. [And variety is a pretty good thing too.]

That's pretty amazing Blades, you have a commendable and rewarding job. I did a few similar things during the start of the war on Cybertron.

We have a few humans like that here too...They don't quite seem up on the idea of biomechanical life. Some of them have adapted pretty well though.

I just want all the good things to pile up and never go away. [This was murmured and he slumped a bit. When Wing started complimenting him, he sunk in on himself, but not in a bad way. If he could blush he would be right now.]

I just do my job. [It felt so nice to be praised.]

Are was supposed to pretend to be robots around the humans here too?

I don't blame you one bit. [Wing had it that good in Crystal City, or near to it, for a while.]

[Blades best get used to it, Wing likes to give compliments when they are deserved.] I'm certain there are plenty who are glad for it.

Oh, no, we out number the humans certainly, and it's our homeworld, of a sort, so we should act perfectly natural. It's good to help them adjust though. I've had to explain things to a fair number of outsiders. All and all, they seem to adapt okay.

[This guy. Blades wanted to meet him in person and declare them best friends and never leave his side.]

Ok. I will do my best to act natural... [Whatever that meant anymore.] That's nice of you. I hope I can learn enough to do that too. I just want to help people, but this place is so strange and dark...

[That could sure get interesting. This jet loves flying and goes for a 'jog' around Haven every monring!]

[Wing chuckles.] Just be yourself. It should be easy! [He winks.] It's my pleasure really, I like helping people too. And that's why I think it's important that we stick together and try to form a community out of this crazy cluster of refugees. Things that are strange and dark are a lot easier to handle when you know you aren't alone.

[Well yeah, that could be a problem.]

Maybe we should hold support meetings or something? I saw it on TV a few times. People with common problems gather once a week to talk and help each other cope. Everyone here has something in common, so maybe...

[Of course Blades wasn't even thinking about how others would take that, sounding weak and like they needed help. Blades thought it sounded nice though.]

Support meetings? [He muses, tapping a finger over his lipplates.] Maybe. I know talking through your issues can help. Maybe we should ask Rung?

[Wing isn't thinking much about that either, but if he did, he's pretty certain there are some who wouldn't attend at all. That just means he'd find a different way to help them.]

Oh yes! I forgot Rung is a problem doctor. I'm sure he could help us set it up. And maybe it would help everyone make friends too.

That's actually a good reason to gather in the first place. Maybe we shouldn't even call them support meetings. Maybe more people would come then?

Might not be a bad idea to run past Rung, see what he thinks.
