[The video clicks on far too close to Blades' face as he seems to be squinting at something. Realizing the camera is on, he blinks and backs up, hurrying to put a smile on his face.]

Hello! Hi everyone out there! I'm Blades. So, I guess we're all a little lost, or something? I don't know, some guy just told me I was in a lamb or something... looks like Cybertron to me. At least... sort of. There aren't all the cities and buildings and lights, but I know Cybertron like... Well, like home.

[A soft sigh as he wonders what home is exactly right now. Griffin Rock feels the most like home. But no time for that. A slight shake of his head brings him back to the here and now.]

Anyhow, if anyone sees my teammates, I'd appreciate it. There's a fire truck named Heatwave, a police car named Chase, and a bulldozer named Boulder. They're all really nice and I miss them. Of course, seeing as I heard we're stuck here, I'd love to get to know some of you too! I'm always up for making new friends. I've been so busy pretending to be a robot lately, it's been hard to talk to people.

[Oh, maybe he shouldn't mention that. Oops. A sheepish smile before he continues.]

Yeah. So... Hi again, and bye for now! [An enthusiastic wave and the screen blinks out.]

Oh yeah! You can fly faster than everyone else, right? So you could tell us what's around us. Or can you not see the ground because you're going too fast? Ugh, I don't even want to think about going that fast...

[It was making him sick thinking about it. Dani would probably flip for a chance to fly in something as fast as Thundercracker, though.]

I'm Blades. It's nice to- er... [Was he supposed to be polite or not? This is too hard.]

I am built for speed and agility in the skies, yes. And I can see just fine.

[The smirk grows at the verbal stumble.]

Don't strain yourself, Autobot. It's not that difficult. Members of the factions are here, but the war isn't. [So far. He's still not decided exactly how he feels about that.]

Ok, well then it's nice to meet you. [No war, no problem. Blades could just be nice to everyone. He suddenly feels stupid talking to this jet about flying when he's afraid to do it himself.]

So... What's your Cybertron like? [That was a safe conversation topic, right?]

[Safe, yes . . . if not necessarily a pleasant one. Thundercracker scowls a bit as he looks away. Nothing personal - any kind of irritation or even just discomfort manifests with a scowl.]

...dead. Or nearly so. We're trying to gather the energy needed to take back and rebuild. But the- . . . ["fragging Autobots" - yeah, he's gonna catch that and leave it unspoke] . . . we keep being blocked from it.

[He's also going to leave unspoken how they've been raiding the humans to do it, and that Megatron's ultimate intention is to restore Cybertron just for him to rule it. Cybertron needs to be restored...at this point REGARDLESS of who's ruling.]

Well, I'm sure you'll get it back to the way it was. [He put on a smile for Thundercracker. He doesn't know that at all, but he hopes.]

Well, the last time I saw my Cybertron it was very alive and full of bots. But I've been told it's not like that anymore...
