Track 4 [Action/Audio]
[Miko slowly came awake, her eyes blinking open to take in the room she was in before she went to turn over and go back to resting. Sudden her eyes opened once more, wide awake and she sat up with a jolt, her hand smacking down on her communicator and activating the audio post function.]
Wh-what, where... no.
[Confusion and dawning horror of realization could be seen on the girl's face and heard in her voice as it became thick with barely suppressed distress.]
Bulkhead? BLUKHEAD?!
[Her shout was pained and heart wrenching, followed by the sound of a cut off sob, her hands moving to cover her mouth, quieting the sounds of her upset, as she curled in on herself, not bothering to move from where she had been sleeping not long before.]

[Action]
Wheeljack... I...
[What was she supposed to say? Now a lot of the things he had talked about, like returning to Earth, made sense, she understood it now. But how do you talk to someone after what they had just been through? Then it occurred to her that Wheeljack might not know yet, what if, now, he was the one who was 'behind'?]
Blukhead... he...
[Action]
What about Bulkhead? Kid, you gotta tell me, right now.
[He hated to sound forceful, but she was his information hub at the moment.]
Did ya have a dream or somethin'?
[Action]
[She shook her head as if trying to clear it, but more tears only start building in her eyes.]
I don't know. It was so... so real things hurt and... I... you told me that you had come back to Earth before arriving here... I know that now, but I didn't before.
[She seems barely able to keep from crying, and tries to start moving towards him, though her emotional state, or the fact that she had been sleeping so long, made it hard for her to move quickly.]
Oh Wheeljack, Bulkhead was... he was hurt bad, really bad. I don't know what to do. I promised I wouldn't ever leave him again, but now I'm here and I don't... I don't know.
[Action]
[Wheeljack just let that all sink in slowly. So...she'd gone back home. To a time period before him? And...events played out.]
So ya finally caught up to me.
[He watched her struggle towards him, slowly leaning down to hold her up with his hand. But that hand goes rigid at that last part.]
What.
[Action]
Some Insecticon called Hardshell got him, and there was something else... tox-n? or something like that. It... it messed him up... and I wasn't with him to help him.
[She looked most upset at that last part, already blaming herself for not having insisted on sticking with her partner and guardian.]
You and me... we went and took out Hardshell but... Ratchet said Blukhead might not ever be the same. I told him I wasn't ever leaving him alone again... and then I woke up here.
[Little sad sounds broke up her words, not quite full sobs, but little hitches in her voice as she fought down her sadness.]
[Action]
[Wheeljack listens to her story, his expression becoming darker and darker.]
Bulk's got Tox-En in his system...
[His gaze diverted, as if trying to channel his anger into glaring at something else. So this...Hardshell guy went after his buddy, and he wasn't around to even help. Then he finds out he takes the kid along for the ride?]
...He'll make it, kid.
[Action]
[There is nothing else she can say, because she doesn't want to refuse the idea that Bulkhead will survive, but at the same time, what if he didn't?]
[Action]
No need to be, kid. He'll pull through.
He always does.
[Action]
I hope you're right.
[Action]
I know it.
