[ Guess who's back to shooting things in the junk pile?

This guy.

Hopefully he's being more careful, seeing as he's narrating this entry while staring down the scope of... Something. It looks like a fusion of his usual sniper rifle and a certain someone's plasma weaponry. ]

I'm rather fascinated with the abilities of those pages to create a working item from admittedly sparse notes. This particular weapon functions far better than I could have hoped, considering I did little more than jot down a few rough concept sketches. The accuracy is a little off at the moment, but with a few adjustments I feel it could be quite formidable in combat scenarios.

[ He pauses to line up a shot, humming thoughtfully as a bright blue blast obliterates something (that looks uncannily like a toaster) in the distance. ]

Hm, perhaps if I modified the scope...

Ah, Vandal, could you spare a moment or two? Seeing as the conceptual basis of this gun originates in your technology, I would appreciate your input on modifying it further.

To everyone else... Has anyone had any items or effects linger from the, mm, outbreak of oddities we experienced recently?

I'm rather enamored with it, personally, but I have a certain fondness for firearms these days.

Well shit Perce. You designed it after tech from my world... I'm really goddamn flattered. I mean... can I see you shoot it? How's it target? What's the cooldown time?

It's a little heavier than I would have liked, though I suppose that is entirely my own fault for failing to go into great detail with my initial plans. The cool down is fine, although sustained fire is something of a problem.

[ He settles the butt of the weapon against his shoulder, leaning in to peer down the sights. ]

All in all it seems to be a decent long range weapon, although I still have a few adjustments to make to the scope. It's simply too large and slow-firing for close encounters, although if one is being vigilant...

[ The briefest of pauses as he squeezes the trigger and takes out a lamp atop a pile of debris in the distance. ]

Close encounters shouldn't be a problem.

[Golf clap.]

Very nice. The delivery of the plasma itself seems a little weak. I could probably tweak that for you so it packs more of a punch on that and. It'll probably do better with sustained fire if we're not pulling the punches like that.
