VIDEO | JUNK PILE
[ Guess who's back to shooting things in the junk pile?
This guy.
Hopefully he's being more careful, seeing as he's narrating this entry while staring down the scope of... Something. It looks like a fusion of his usual sniper rifle and a certain someone's plasma weaponry. ]
I'm rather fascinated with the abilities of those pages to create a working item from admittedly sparse notes. This particular weapon functions far better than I could have hoped, considering I did little more than jot down a few rough concept sketches. The accuracy is a little off at the moment, but with a few adjustments I feel it could be quite formidable in combat scenarios.
[ He pauses to line up a shot, humming thoughtfully as a bright blue blast obliterates something (that looks uncannily like a toaster) in the distance. ]
Hm, perhaps if I modified the scope...
Ah, Vandal, could you spare a moment or two? Seeing as the conceptual basis of this gun originates in your technology, I would appreciate your input on modifying it further.
To everyone else... Has anyone had any items or effects linger from the, mm, outbreak of oddities we experienced recently?
This guy.

[ Perceptor will just be lining up a shot while he waits for Kageoru. ]
actionnn
[The 'bot finds him pretty easily, and lands far enough away that he hopes he won't distract Perceptor from shooting.]
action
He lowers the rifle and turns to Kagerou, smiling. ]
Greetings, Kagerou.
action
[He steps forward, then.]
Can you always do that?
action
[ He tilts his head at Kagerou. ]
Do you have any experience with firearms, Kagerou?
action
[He looks embarrassed, then, and shrugs a shoulder.]
Only... when they were being fired at me.
action
[ He gives Kagerou an odd look. ]
Were you shot at often?
action
[Because that would just make Perceptor even more impressive, in his head. Good god, Percy you've got yourself a fan.]
A little. When I escaped... shooting was how they thought to deal with me.
[... At least until he took a kid hostage.]
action
[ He frowns slightly. ]
Where did you escape from, if I may ask?
action
[He shifts a bit. It sort of sounds embarrassing to say, in comparison to what he's learned.]
The facility I was built in. That I lived in... all my life.
action
[ Oh baby why is your history so sad. ]
Were you kept there against your will?
action
[Because reasons.]
Not at first. It was all I knew... and I had a good reason to stay. But in the end, staying would have meant being erased...
[even though that happened anyway haha...]
action
[ O-oh. ]
Why would they erase you? That sounds... barbaric.
action
[He smiles faintly, but it fades.]
Because I finished my work. The only reason they brought me online... it was finished. There was no reason for me to continue.
To them... I'm nothing more than data. And what else is there to do with obsolete data?
action
action
I'm... glad you think differently. Thank you.

action
I feel the same. About you.
