[One of the more human voices goes on the network. Yeah, Albert's been off the comms for some time. For one, you guys chat way too much and Albert isn't exactly the biggest social butterfly. And two, Albert has been busy patrolling here and there. But, he felt he had to let the other people, at least the more sane ones, he was still alive. That and he had something to work out, something that's been hanging on his head for a long while. Maybe he could work it out with some of the people here, maybe not. Just talking can help sometimes. Sometimes.]

For the most part other than a few incidents, I haven't seen anything major pop up...yet. Which got me thinking. I mean, if something like...whatever happened could make you short circuit so easily, what's keeping a human from losing control? What's keeping them from malfunctioning?

I just think that...I'm not sure what to expect of this place. But whatever's going to happen, it won't be good. I haven't seen any signs yet, but from experience these kind of things happen without warning.

Sorry if it seems like I'm rambling, there's just a lot I need to sort out. And I don't think I can do it alone.

[He hits the feed off again once more.]

... I suppose that depends on what you mean by short circuit, truly. Since while we seem to have a few... less than pleasant and sane [Jetfire scowls, crossing his arms just from the thought] individuals around, depending on what you mean their behaviour wouldn't truly have anything to do with glitches or induced insanity.

Ah. Well, we do know that was the fault of the... pages. [However that now worked. He's not entirely pleased with the explanation (or lack thereof), but...] I would assume no human was affected because none of them either made any notes or drew anything that would have changed their personalities so fundamentally, and weren't affected in such a way by what anyone else wrote or drew.

But it came from this place, and there must be other artifacts that can change us. What's to keep us from becoming something else just because of some other artifact?

Indeed. [There's a somewhat tired shake of his helm.] And while we could hope that we'd recognize anything further... suspicious, all of those affected by those pages found nothing strange by utilising them when they found them, and by that point it was too late.

The only thing I could suggest is that if anyone of us remain... unaffected by any further situations, that we could perhaps guard each other, but if we're listened to or not...

That's what I'm thinking: we need safegaurds, just in case.

Mm. It would only be useful if everybody has agreed to it, but it might be our best bet either way since I would think the last time it took the greater part of a week merely because the Firstforged never got to know before that.

Did you have anything in mind?

I'm not sure, I want to say something like automatic cuffs for us in case something happens to us...but there's boung to be complications.

While it wouldn't be impossible to program cuffs to react with certain displayed types of behaviour, the implementation would rely on at least one willing scan initially to pick up baseline behaviour, and then any consecutive unwilling scans for aberrations...

[He shakes his helm, frowning.]

It'd be questionable at best, even if we could hardly demand anyone wear them and it'd be on a voluntary basis.

Yeah, which is why we have to find some way to keep an eye on each other, without someone else getting the upper hand.

We do seem to use the Link enough that anything off from normal would be noticed, but that isn't a guarantee... and even so, to establish that something is truly wrong, you'd need a pattern.

Enough individuals exposing themselves to examination it'd be possible to, if not link them directly together, link any measure of abnormal behaviour between each together.

[He hums softly and then shakes his helm.]

Sounds good enough to me. What worries me is something coming along to make any of us flip out again.

Regardless of precautions planned for and taken, given a basic amount of respect for any individual, that might be impossible to actually stop beforehand... Which is merely a reflection of life in general, even if we're talking about induced abormal behaviour dangerous to others.

Which of course is somewhat frustrating, but I'm unsure there's anything to do about it.

The only concerning thing has been the jaguar robot, I'm looking into to that. But as for any major threats like Prism or another rogue machine, I haven't seen any.

Good. I'm glad to hear it.

Jaguar is of deep concern to me as well. I'm fairly certain he's not of sound mind. His 'mission'--supposedly given to him by our god, contradicts everything that our creator holds dear. I'm not certain he can be reasoned with.

[Uh, he's obviously a little passionate about this part. Which is unusual compared to Wing's normally dulcet tones.]

There was an invasion before you arrived...thousands of monsters poured from the Lambda. He had to band together to defend Haven along with the First Forged.

Don't know about you, but I don't like people who use god as excuse for what he's doing.

Think another invasion could happen? Sounds pretty likely.

Honestly? [He chews on it a bit, noticeably.] Yes. There a threads of chaos everywhere here. Many things just don't add up or make sense. But least of all the Lambda and what it brings through. I know there is a force the First Forged work against...but perhaps it's more active than I thought...

Sounds like some kind of organization is working to rip this place apart. I'd say Black Ghost, but it's just too disorganized for their taste.

There's definitely something at work. I just don't know how much of it is linked and how much of it is coincidental. I'm honestly thinking I might ask Vector directly at this point...

[He frowns a bit, because he'd like to think they could sort this out before seeking counsel with the First Forged, but it's sounding like not.]

As for people losing control...I don't know what to do about that. In general I'd say it's rare for our species, but that's by normal standards.

And I think the very degree of normalcy that applies here is even up for debate.

[Needless to say he doesn't like that much either.]

I'd take it up with Solus, but I haven't really seen them...at all.

There's an Acolyte in the main portion of the temple that you can leave a message with. I did, and it took me a few days to hear back from her, but she did send a reply.
