[ Let's action this business!!

Makeshift makes his way to the junk pile, still in drone form, on the look out for this weirdo who needs cores. ]

[He might actually live through this starvation... For now. As long as he can get his hands on the Vehicon's power core luck will be on his side for once. Not that it ever really is, but he'll survive until he gets hungry again. And Vehicons are easy enough to kill, he's done it before. No one would miss the guy, this was perfect. He'd be pleased if he weren't internally brooding about how it could go wrong or just starving the next time he needs a power core.

When he notices the Vehicon he waves him over.

Hey! ...Thanks for helping, most wouldn't.

I'm happy to help.

[ Except he's not, really. Quite the opposite. He's not thrilled with getting involved with anyone with a Dark Energon problem, but he's got a part to play.

He'll just be. Really on edge. ]

Where, uh, do we start looking?

[He lines this up carefully and the Vehicon won't even know before it's too late. He can do this, he's done it before.]

You guys aren't bad you know, or at least you seem to care more than any other 'Con.

... You start over there, and I'll check this side? [He points.] We'll cover more ground splitting up.

We gotta stick together, right? Look out for each other.

[ Or something like that. Makeshift would rather just look out for his own skin but hey, he has appearances to maintain. Literally.

He nods, turning to head over to the area Dead End pointed out. ]

I guess, not that it matters much in the end.

[And not that it matters much now, when he's hungry. 'Bot, 'Con he's not picky about which side he eats, as long as it's a meal he's not going to be immediately killed for.

He lets the Vehicon head off, going in his own direction momentarily. Once there's enough distance between them that he feels he can safely begin this little food hunt, he draws his swords. Sneaking when you're brightly coloured with glowing bright green laser swords? He makes it work.

He just needs to head back in the direction of the poor piece of cannon fodder, sneak up behind him and lunch.]

[ Makeshift is busy kicking his way through the wreckage, making a show of looking when in actually putting in nearly zero effort. He's not happy to say the least, but maybe if he makes a good enough show the other mech will get bored of him and let him leave.

While he searches he's on his guard, as watchful as always, listening carefully and watching at the corners of his vision for movement. He knows the junk pile is a pretty common area for others to be frequenting, and he doesn't want any surprises. ]

[Surprises are, unfortunately, exactly what Dead End has planned. He's hungry, and knowing his luck he doesn't have much time before he starves to death. His systems certainly aren't happy with the lack of the more powerful energy gained from power cores.

So Dead End does his best to sneak up behind the Vehicon, once he catches sight of him. Swords at the ready, he makes a dash for him, knowing just where to stab to get at the core.]

[ The slightest noise makes Makeshift turn, just in time to see Dead End dash at him. Great. Just what he needed. ]

What are you doing?!

[ Besides attacking him, obviously. Makeshift is quick to backpedal, one hand smoothly transitioning into blaster form and aimed at Dead End's chest. ]

[When his blade doesn't meet the Vehicon's chest, instead being faced with a blaster, he frowns. Well as much as a mech with his kind of mouth can frown. This was not going well.]

Since when did you Vehicons learn to dodge?

[He has to find a way to turn this around.]

I'm hungry and a power core from this place won't have nearly enough energy as yours does.

We're not all totally useless.

[ Makeshift keeps his blaster trained on Dead End, his voice dubious. ]

And it didn't occur to you to get one from an Autobot? I'm on your side, dumbaft.

Right an Autobot, one of those guys with friends all over the place. They are delicious, but I'd like to live more than a few days after getting some fuel. No one ever misses Vehicons. Unfortunate on your part, but right now you're the safest bet.

[His grip on his swords tighten as he shifts his weight, optics narrowing. If he charges he's going to get a shot to the chest, and he doesn't want more things to buff and fix up. Instead he begins to slowly circle the other mech.]

So take one by surprise! Don't get caught.

[ The blaster hums as Makeshift charges it, ready to fire at a moments notice. ]

I could help you handle them.

If I had that kind of luck I would.

[He continues to circle, optics watching that blaster.]

You expect me to believe that you can actually hold your own in a fight? They suddenly start teaching you guys how to fight?

Anyone can point a blaster, doesn't mean you'll hit anything.

[From this distance though the bot would have to be a horrible shot to miss.]
