[Action] Let's spend the afternoon in a cold hot air balloon!
[Recent events had perked Kay up quite a bit. In fact, it was almost like the Pages event had never happened. I guess when you're a teenage girl, you tend to forget things like that easily. After all, you're not quite to the age where life hits you too hard. Either way, she's back to her ordinary, chipper self. She'd been making frequent trips to the junkpile, finding all sorts of knick-knacks. Some were far too bizarre for her to put in her room...actually, it cluttered it up pretty bad.
So what was she going to do with them?
Well, throughout the day, you could find her in various parts of Haven, tugging along a wagon and doing what looks like...lawn decoration? Hey, the Acolytes said that it was their job to help build Cybertron, right? Well, if putting pink flamingos next to the lakes of the Trionic temple and strings of paper lanterns along Vector's, then so be it. It was what she could do.
Cybertron could use a little decoration, after all.
Wherever you happen to be, you might notice the girl putting up something like this. You can ignore her, whatever she's doing is probably really stupid.]

[He spots her by the lake, and, despite his distaste of water, lands a few feet away from her.]
... Kay.

Mr. Kagerou!
no subject
[He lifts one of the lanterns carefully between two fingers.]
What are you doing here?
no subject
[She sets the stuff down, reaching up for the lantern. Don't drop it, silly!]
I thought I'd decorate the lake..! It looks so plain, don't you think?
no subject
It... looks like a lake. I've never seen a lake until now. So I can't say.
no subject
This is your first time seeing a lake?
no subject
[He peers a little closer at the "garden".]
The ocean was bigger.

[When he looks down at it, she starts adjusting little things, like the positioning of each lantern. She wants it to be perfect for him, after all.]
It's peaceful to look at.
no subject
[He crouches down for a better look. His head tilts to one side. He can't really tell why she's doing all that.]
I didn't get the chance to look for long.
no subject
That too. Maybe next time you'll get a closer look.
[Well...you're not WRONG...]

What are you up to?
no subject
Mr. Renko! I was just...you know, Feng Shui'ing it up here!
What do you think?
no subject
[He takes a good long look at the area, even going so far as to squint at it appraisingly. Feng Shui, huh?
Well that's been out where he's been...Right before the look can get entirely to disapproving territory, his face relaxes and he smiles.]
So far, so good, it looks like.
no subject
[When that approval face spreads across his face, she puts her hands behind her back in excitement, slightly bouncing. PLEASE LIKE IT.
Oh! That's a smile!]
Ah! Thanks! I thought an asian theme worked well for the lake...can you imagine it with a bunch of lanterns? Maybe floating lights!
no subject
[He really has to like it, if only because of that bouncing. She is so excitable and it is so refreshing to see it for once.]
That would be beautiful. Asian theme definitely works for the lake, I think.
no subject
Hmm...I've always wanted to put floating lanterns on the water...but the candles would burn out so quickly. And I don't want to swim to get them...
[Action]
[Thundercracker was flying lazy circles over the clearings around the Trionic Temple, but hey...movement. Dropping closer, he realizes he recognizes the little human femme. He'll transform and land, then crouch on a knee so he's not looming over her quite so far.]
Kay.
[It's a greeting more than recognition.]
[Action]
Mister Thundercracker!
[A happy spin around.]
What are you doing out here?
[Action]
Flying.
What are you doing? [a gesture to indicate the wagon and its miscellany.]
[Action]
[Action]
[He pokes idly at one of the pink, plastic, vaguely S-shaped...is that supposed to be a bird of some kind?]
How does . . . decorating . . . help build?
[Action]
You know?
[Action]
. . . not really, no.
[He’s just being honest.]
But then, I've never had a . . . well, a "home" the way you're talking.
[Action]
[She seems...pretty shocked about this.]
Not even your own room?
Re: [Action]
[A small, wry grin.]
I’m a soldier, Kay. Aerial combat specialist. We tend to focus on what’s practical.
…especially when time and resources are severely limited.
[Kay won’t know if he means the present situation or his past back home. By his tone, she might guess the latter.
She’d be right.][Action]
