[When the vid feed pops up on the Link, it starts with Swerve looking pretty confused, but this isn't exactly new to anyone who knows him.
To those who don't, welcome to Swerve-ville! Population: This boxy motherfucker and a whole lotta mouth.
He does perk up pretty quickly though, which again, isn't all that surprising. Swerve is pretty ace when it comes to looking like he's perpetually in a good mood.]

You know, I kind of thought we'd crashed through some kind of portal at first, 'cause this looks a lot like Cybertron. So I was thinking maybe there was some kind of massive surprise twist on the way and the Knights of Cybertron were actually on Cybertron the whole time, but it was an alternate version of Cybertron and the quest was actually supposed to teach us a lesson about perseverance and friendship.

Buuuut then some mech who was with me when I came out of recharge explained most of the actual situation to me. Kind of a disappointment, really.

[Though, if he thinks about it, this is actually pretty good. If there was a test on how everyone on the Lost Light was best friends, they would have failed it pretty quick. Because they're them.]

But, uh, just a note here? Waking up to a mech who was watching you during recharge just to explain the whole situation? Actually pretty creepy. So... might wanna get management on that.

I might've missed some of it. Wasn't exactly up for listening to the Acolyte after waking up. Not that it's my first time waking up in a place I don't recognize. Well, it was the first time recently, but that isn't the point.

Ah. The short version of their explanation is that we are stuck on an alternate Cybertron with no known way to return to our own dimension.

Okay, I might have missed that last part at the beginning when he was explaining it. [He? It? She? Who cares?]

I also might have missed the why I've got another brand. Which I could've chosen where this one went though. Seems a little weird having it on a wheel.

[He could have had a robot tramp stamp. Look at all the opportunities we've missed.]

The anomaly we arrived through is known locally as the Lambda. At the moment information on it is scare, although it appears to link several dimensions and timelines.

The glyphs are apparently related to the First Forged, and are quite permanent. Attempts to remove them have so far proven fruitless.

Several like more than two, or several like we actually have no idea how many, but it's probably a lot?

Well, I wasn't exactly planning on removing it, even if it does clash a little. I can make it spin if I switch to my alt mode, so it all kind of evens out. [It's right on his wheel rim, since that's basically his upper arm and that's where it goes.]

Considering the nature of the anomaly, it would not be impossible to think that the number could be infinite.

What else've you got? Especially about the brand, 'cause I gotta say, waking up to a new one was kinda weird.

At this time I'm uncertain as to how, exactly, the brand is placed or maintained. The brand persists even after the affected armor is removed, leading me to believe it is externally perpetuating.

So if I were to lose the arm it'd just move somewhere else, huh. Talk about clingy. How'd you find out all this anyway? Wait, no. Better question. How'd you find all this out here without popping off your own plating. Unless you did that, in which case, mystery solved.

I experimented by removing my own external plating on the effected limb.

Yeah, see I had a feeling you were gonna say something like that. At least you didn't try removing the whole arm though.

This kind of thing is seriously ripe for messing around with. Interchangeable plating. Interchangeable limbs. I wonder if it's even safe to remove. Probably frowned upon or something by those FirstForged guys. Speaking of them. Who are they?

I would assume that, considering they were important enough to be given in the first place, that removing them entirely would be frowned upon by our hosts.

They are the individuals responsible for the Haven, as well as the individual temples. Little more is known about them.

How'd you figure out they were important at all, and not just crazy neat brands so we know what temple we stay in? I feel like my curiosity should be satisfied, but it's not. Hm. Guess I could always ask them. Has anyone tried that yet?

The fact someone took the time to place them there in the first place, rather than simply tell us our assigned temples, indicates they serve some purpose beyond mere sorting.

I thought we got them when we got here 'cos the whole... [Gesture towards the ceiling.]
