[When the vid feed pops up on the Link, it starts with Swerve looking pretty confused, but this isn't exactly new to anyone who knows him.
To those who don't, welcome to Swerve-ville! Population: This boxy motherfucker and a whole lotta mouth.
He does perk up pretty quickly though, which again, isn't all that surprising. Swerve is pretty ace when it comes to looking like he's perpetually in a good mood.]

You know, I kind of thought we'd crashed through some kind of portal at first, 'cause this looks a lot like Cybertron. So I was thinking maybe there was some kind of massive surprise twist on the way and the Knights of Cybertron were actually on Cybertron the whole time, but it was an alternate version of Cybertron and the quest was actually supposed to teach us a lesson about perseverance and friendship.

Buuuut then some mech who was with me when I came out of recharge explained most of the actual situation to me. Kind of a disappointment, really.

[Though, if he thinks about it, this is actually pretty good. If there was a test on how everyone on the Lost Light was best friends, they would have failed it pretty quick. Because they're them.]

But, uh, just a note here? Waking up to a mech who was watching you during recharge just to explain the whole situation? Actually pretty creepy. So... might wanna get management on that.

Wait... is the whole crew here? I didn't actually go through the whole Link to find out who was. Seemed like a bit much. But I'll give the Acolytes this though, they know how to weird a mech out, even if they don't know everything.

I might've missed some of it. Wasn't exactly up for listening to the Acolyte after waking up. Not that it's my first time waking up in a place I don't recognize. Well, it was the first time recently, but that isn't the point.

[There is visible surprise on Rung's face and an almost..hesitation of sorts there as well. Swerve is another bot that's connected to bad memories, like Whirl and Fort Max, and he almost doesn't respond..

Yes I suppose the acolytes are a bit creepy in a way..but they are very helpful when you're just arriving here.

[Wow that isn't a voice he recognizes at all. Weird.]

Who're you? And does it ever stop being jarring, or do they just sort of stop doing that thing they do? The one where they're kinda strange and ominous hooded vaguely cybertronian figures.

[He's trying to make polite conversation, trying to show that he is concerned for his fellow crew mates but it's hard to find a smooth line of conversation for some reason.

Well, I don't know about learning anything, except that not even having the finished materials to build what you need is rather annoying but if you want management...

Pretty much. I woke up in the Junk Pile with the Red Rust. [So.....hopefully Swerve had a better start than that?]

Also some refugees from Messatine. [He's not sure if that'll mean anything to Swerve.]

...and Whirl. [Yeah, he's here too. ]

Remember, though, Swerve. It must be just as weird for them to see us as it is for us to suddenly be here.

It's not, actually. Due to the dimensional difference, the Tyrest Accord holds little effect here. However, I am part of this location's law committee. So I have several duties ahead of me.

I take it you have just arrived.

The Knights of Cybertron oohhh you must be from Rugn and Drift's world And ultra Magnus Overlord Fort Max Whirl First Aid Ambulon Wing Perceptor Phrama Wheelj...you know what I think the Lambda just loves to throw mechs from your universe here.

What are "Knights of Cyberton"?

Ah. The short version of their explanation is that we are stuck on an alternate Cybertron with no known way to return to our own dimension.

You mean that stuff from Delphi? Nasty. You don't look all [vague hand motions of optics dripping from sockets that he heard about because he ran the only bar, obviously] though, so I guess they fixed it here.

Messatine, Messatine... [How could he forget who they found on Messatine?] The medics and Fort Max, right?

And Whirl. Not that we found him there. Just nice to remind myself that he's Whirl. [And that he sure is somethin' alright.]

Maybe it'd be better if we were all wearing hoods.

[Drift laughs.] I don't feel all...like that either. [It had been gross, even slowed down.]

Pharma cured it. So at least that's not anything we have to worry about.

[He nods.] Yes, the medical station at Delphi.

[The less said about Whirl the better, Drift figures. But a heads up is the least he could do.]

How would that help? There's no need for us to hide who we are, here. Unlike...other places. [Drift remembers all too well, those spaceports where Cybertronians were decidedly unwelcome.]

There's a law committee here? Why? Well, aside from the obvious. [The obvious being that without law and learning, what is Ultra Magnus supposed to hurt people with?]

Gotta say though, you seem less... well, not less frowny. You kinda always look like you're upset with something. But not as mad as you could be given the whole situation. [And the fact that he was running a not-exactly-legit bar all up on sorta-your ship.]

Okay, I might have missed that last part at the beginning when he was explaining it. [He? It? She? Who cares?]

I also might have missed the why I've got another brand. Which I could've chosen where this one went though. Seems a little weird having it on a wheel.

[He could have had a robot tramp stamp. Look at all the opportunities we've missed.]

Okay, can I just get a list of how many other Cybertroinians are here that I don't know? This is getting kind of strange. And really, the Badlands? That's what it's called? That doesn't sound very inviting.

[You look like Starscream but not Exactly Exactly. It's like Groundhog Day except for the part where Swerve has not seen that movie and also the part where it isn't like Groundhog Day at all.]

You should talk to Drift or Magnus. They are all about learning and teaching things. Y'know. Respectively. [Except don't.]

Yeah, probably. I figure if a mech's gonna let me recharge in his temple and give me a brand for some reason, the least I could do is maybe give him a ping. Maybe he can explain the whole marking others up while they're unconscious train of thought they've got going on here.
