[voice] location--in motion

[Drift may seem to be in a strangely upbeat mood. Because this?  This he can do. He's spent more of his life in a battlefield than anywhere else, and more time in the field than some of his new friends have been alive.]

[In other words, he knows this.]

[The post is voice because he's busy doing his thing.  And he doesn't want to take a break or risk traumatizing the weak of spark with what is likely very, very messy stuff.]

We need to coordinate air support.  Spotters, at least, to tell us the pattern: where and what we're facing.

You don't have to engage; just spot and report.

[Not really locked to Wing.]  ...try to be safe.  Don't do anything stupid. [A pause.] That's my job.

[Not really locked to Wheeljack]  You ever get those grenades ready?

[Not really locked to Annie.]  Where are you?

[Not really locked to Noisy Boy.]  These, uh, these don't fight fair.  Might want to sit this one out.

I'm on my way to engage anything that's in the atmosphere still, but I can most assuredly keep a scanner tracked on patterns, where they're going, and what they are as well.

[The last seemed useful if only because it'd help formulate plans on how to handle or attack the creatures, though most of them seemed... not familiar as such, merely as if he ought to know what they were.]

[Atmosphere and beyond, as needed.]

They don't seem to be moving as a group with intent, though the... ah, shark-like creatures seem to prefer to be moving about in groups. But that, it seems, you have already found out.

[There's a pause, and then a low-pitch whining crackle as the partcile rifle is fired.]

I need more time, but currently most of them seem to simply mill around... But there's some landing outside the Haven.

[And at the moment, he's unsure whether they're going inwards, and if they aren't... Why wouldn't they be?]

[Whenever it is, he'll be sorely disappointed by realizing he can't fly beyond the planet's gravity well, for some reason.]

Lack of either any strong instinct to work together for a greater goal, or lack of willingness to do the same even if they can reason, then.

Certainly, as much as I am able. Though, ah... doesn't the most organic-friendly approach to Solus' temple involve tunnels? You might want someone on the ground at the entrances of those to keep watch.

[It wouldn't be a good idea if any of these creatures got underground to what had apparently become designated as their "safe haven" (within the larger Haven)...]

[Especially since, practically, he's got as much space as he could wish... almost the whole planet.]

Mmm, even their relative vulnerability wouldn't be enough, though with the Firstforged... it might still not have mattered.

Good. It would be unfortunate if the chosen location to retreat to were to get assaulted due to not all entrances being covered. I'll keep you updated as needed.

[Because with the numbers, he should probably stop having conversations at the moment... even useful such.]
