[He tries to make his voice sound a little calmer, a little less unnerved. ]

I'm okay. Something must've, uh, hit me on the head or something.

[Not, you know, the passing out thing. Of course not]

[Well isn't this a surprise. A big one. Well, no, a huge one in fact. Rung had read the reports--knew that Ironfist hadn't made it back alive from the Wreckers mission at Garrus 9 and yet....here he was.]

Ironfist...you're...It's...I'm so glad to see you well.

[A few quick blinks. He doesn't forget what Rung wrote in his psych screening.]

Are you? [He's not hostile, just...he doesn't quite trust Rung at this point.]

[The therapist fights a wince--he should have been expecting a reaction like this.]

I am. Very much so.

[Ironfist sighs frustrated at himself.]

Sorry. If it helps, you were right. I wasn't cut out to be a Wrecker.

[Rung shakes his head.]

You have no reason to apologize, Ironfist. It's not like we were exactly on the best of terms the last we saw one another. And, from the reports I read and the things I know happened during and after your mission, I would disagree.

I just...I should have trusted you. I mean, you knew. Which is your job, really, and why they trust you with doing the screenings and everything and...

[And he's babbling. Because he doesn't want to think about, well, much of anything right now.]

Kinda weird to be here knowing I die and all I'm going to do is die again.

Everyone has the capacity to change, Ironfist. To exceed the expectations that others have for them. You carried out your job the best way you could, the best way you knew how, and no one can fault you for that.

[He doesn't want the other thinking so low of himself; there's no reason for it.]

Don't say that, Ironfist.

[He just wanted to be different, and discovered he couldn't. He wasn't a Wrecker, and no amount of spark could change that.]

I lived, but others could have. Or should have. Pyro deserved better. I should have done that.....

You can't change what's happened or what others decided to do, Ironfist..what you can do though is make the best of this time you have now and not let their sacrifices and even the ones you made go to waste.

But it's already gone.

Rung. I was...I think I was ready to die.

[Rung's quiet for a moment as he contemplates that.]

...Are you upset that you're here? Alive I mean?

...I don't really suppose it changes anything. I was dying then, I'm dying here.

[Rung you are bringing him down.]
