Hey, so. That noise I was hearin'... it stopped a few days ago.

Then all these new dudes are poppin' up. Weird, how that panned out, but you know? With a place that's got, like, magic pages an' stuff in it? Ain't hard to see how weird scrap happens.

He tried to ki--[Starscream hesitates. Even an attempt on his life doesn't quite jive with what the Seeker's (possibly naively) assessed Soundwave. He didn't go super murderous about Prism...

But then, Prism didn't share the face of the leader Soundwave likely loved.

[it's so confusing, he feels ...underlying loyalty to Soundwave that he can't define, and the pull of loyalty from a world away where Megatron promised all the wonderful things he felt he could never acquire for himself. A way to fill the void that was his ego, and clamored for admiration.

And it wasn't, confusingly, all about self-gratification. He struggled for a moment to find words, words that weren't thank you because too much of that suggested debts he might not be able to repay, but...]
