[After being given the introductory explanation, Shockwave had found himself a stable corner within the temple to stand in. The damage to his only optical sensor reduced his vision was to mostly darkness. There were a few vague, shimmering shapes to guide him, but the act of acclimating to these new surroundings were still a rather ungraceful affair altogether. Had the comm not been a mostly internal upgrade, making any sort of call would have been a lot more complicated.]

[The audio feed clicks on to the sound of sparks occasionally spurting from the damaged part. But soon enough, a new voice disinterestedly drones through:]

This Cybertron does not yet carry the burden of civil war.

[The thought is given one or two seconds of attentive silence before he moves to the more prudent topic:]

(ooc: anyone in Liege Maximo's temple can feel free to find him and use this ample opportunity to poke fun at his misfortune.)

A dead Cybertron. [He frowns, wondering how many worlds had come to that same fate.] It is my aim to prevent that.

[The lack of video couple with the mention of Autobot forces has him suspicious momentarily, but its a question easily cleared up.] Who are you?

[He couldn't pick up the visual cues, but this Megatron seemed to be a bit more idealistic in the way he spoke. There was more of the Gladiator and less of the Warlord.]

[There was a little suspicion on his own side, but consider him intrigued.]

How do you intend to preserve Cybertron?

[Another one? This was fortuitous--moreso than he could have even hoped for. Already, this project was looking possible...and if another Shockwave came on board it would not fail. All he needed to offer was provide the proper...incentive.]

Shall we say I have been gifted with a set of plans for an interdimensional space bridge?

It has a time component, as well.

[The smirk in his voice is almost palpable.] Do you have any experience with space bridges?

[If this Shockwave was like the others...then the question was directed with purpose.]

I have reverse-engineered the technology in the past.

[He can hear the growing enthusiasm in the other voice as this Megatron explained the situation. There was definitely intrigue on his own end in response to the offer.]

[While he didn't have any particular attachment to his own dimension, the allure of finding a way to link to other ones would be enough to get him to agree. Once he has resolved more urgent issues.]

That is impressive.

[It had taken many mechs many years to arrive at the schematics he had now--and they weren't, as far as he knew, operable. They were close, however, and they had built a portal that had operated once. Repeating that instance would be the tricky bit.]

It may not be enough, however. In addition to tweaking the technology, we have the interference from the Lambda to consider. It is proving to be a challenge.

[One that he hopes Shockwave will be interested enough to rise to.]

Is there a reason this transmission is audio only?

[There was clearly a vested interest their cooperation, so Megatron gets his answer after a thoughtful pause.]

I would not be able to see the caller. It is an issue that is currently being resolved.

[He didn't arrive here on the best of conditions. Sans sight and sans alt mode to compensate. It was nothing fatal, fortunately. Just very inconvenient.]

Researching your schematics would be a valuable endeavor after I have taken care of it.

[And here he was, going to offer up one of the medics he knew. You've already taken care of it, however, which only makes him pleased. Happy rumbling of engine and all.]

[Likewise, while some of the Autobots from his world were still quite irritating, overall they appeared to be interested in peaceful coexistence. As long as that would last.]
