Had the comm not been a mostly internal upgrade, making any sort of call would have been a lot more complicated.]

[The audio feed clicks on to the sound of sparks occasionally spurting from the damaged part. But soon enough, a new voice disinterestedly drones through:]

[There'd been no reason to have taken a longer way towards his room, except it gave him some few moments to think in general, and there was a lot of things going on right now that were just waiting to go bad... Megatron's portal, the Glyphless, the possibility of neutralising the Badlands or Lambda's pull...

It was a bit of a surprise to find someone standing in a corner all in all. Someone... Jetfire frowns, considering it, but in the end it wasn't exactly hard, different design aesthetic or no. He doesn't get much closer than he already is, though, a bit down the corridor.]

[A little closer inspection should reveal the problem, his optic was completely dark save an occasional spark here and there from somewhere in it's interior - a view so graciously given by an accurate hole that was punched through it's surface.]

[Hearing an unrecognizable someone approach was enough to bring just the slightest bit of an edge in his posture, but his tone remained calm.]

So who was the lamp face anyway? The she-spider observes him for several moments, even noting the sparks while she contemplates. Definitely a Decepticon, but which one?]
