If they were starving, they'd be in a lot more ill health than they are now, though, admittedly, a more secure and easier source of sustenance for them would probably help them a lot.

It doesn't work that way. Because even if that's true [Bumblebee, Starscream?] this isn't a small project and I'd... ah, appreciate the help. [Especially if Starscream was making him do something he'd gotten the idea for.] And no one would know of your involvement, Starscream... Further, if you want to look at it that way, you'd be depriving any organic around of any food you took from the junk pile for us to analyse.
