Hello...? I am looking for some of my friends.

[Melan hesitates a few seconds. Does that thing even work?]

They... look like me, except red and pink for Eryun, silver and black for Pyon. They were with me just before I was sent here... As was the Monomakia attacking us. The... civilians? amongst you, be careful, that creature is really agressive. For the others, just aim for the eyes.

[The metal creature had assured him he wasn't the only one able to fight here. With a little luck, the rogue experiment would be killed soon and his duty would be fulfilled.]

If the... metal... servant... is right, you can't go back to your home dimension? We are blocked here?

[Melan doesn't look really disturbed by the idea: universe hopping, he is quite familiar with the concept.]

...ah, yeah. That's what we're chosen to wield as weapons. It's...kind of how it sounds like- at least in use. It does look like a big key, though.

I'd like that. I've been meaning to ask around if anyone was interested, so I'll be sure to keep you in mind! How do you fight, Melan?

[At the question, he nods and holds up a hand.]

[There's a flash of light, and when it fades, grasped in his hand is his keyblade.]

People seem to be really nice here. It helps.

I fight... flying, most of the time. I have a sword and a gun. You have just your sword? [Good luck explaining him what magic is!]

[Melan stares some more at the strange looking blade. The screen is a little too small to see it entierely, but he get a good idea.]

It's the first time I see a sword like this. [He looks very curious. He likes weapons!]

They are. I guess it's also because they've gone through the same thing you are right now.

Oh, a sword and a gun? And you fly? That sounds neat- I definitely have to see that. I mainly use my Keyblade, yeah. But I can do a little magic too.

[The boy chuckles.] That's what a lot of people say when I mention my weapon to them. I guess I'm not surprised. There aren't many Keyblade users even back where I'm from.

People appear here often? For what I saw on the... Link, it looks like a few persons arrived here at the same time. Including me.

From what I can tell for the few...months? I've been here, it seems pretty random. I haven't seen a whole lot arrive at once since the...

[He trails off, the previous month's occurrence had not been a pleasant one.]

Magic- it's... [Ventus pauses. He's not really sure how to explain it.] It's a kind of power you can use. Kind of...ah, what's the word. Elemental? I know a little fire magic, and wind, ice and thunder.

It'd easier to show than explain.

I'm...probably not as strong as Terra or Aqua, but I'm trying to get stronger so I can help them out.

Aqua and Terra are your friends then? They are lucky to have someone like you at their sides.

[He supposes it's only fair to tell Melan. It'd be a good opportunity just to make sure, too...]

When people are brought here, they're given a mark and wake up in one of the temples of the Firstforged. ...you got one too, right? Should be on your arm, somewhere.

...not too long ago, there were suddenly a lot of arrivals- but they didn't have a Glyph- that's what the symbols are called. The Glyphs are supposed to protect us from bad effects.

[And on the subject of sparring...] Oh, sure. I can do that.

We're a good team, I think. I haven't gotten to fight alongside Aqua and Terra a whole lot, well, aside from training, but I hope I can find them again.

Bad... effects? [Melan tilts his head on the side.] What sort of bad effects? What happened?

[It must be bad, because Ventus is... somewhat sad? Melan can only guess. He is not that good with reading people expression.]

Oh, and I have one of those "Glyphs". It's white.

They start to go crazy. And...then they end up trying to attack and even kill. Sometimes unmarked creatures come from the Badlands- far outside of the Haven, but only recently did any arrivals like ourselves appear without them.

...they're all gone now.

[He doesn't really want to say how.]

White? Mine is too- did you wake up in Prima's temple, then?

[Melan takes a few seconds to imagine a person he likes attacking him. One that wasn't Pyon or Eryun. Have a very slightly perturbed Knight.]

[He won't ask what happened to them. He is not that dense, thank you, he can pefectly guess.]

Yes, I did. Prima is you "look ou', too? And... You say "Prima's temple". Is there any other temple?

[Thus is why Ventus had been a little reluctant to speak about the whole thing in the first place.

I woke up there too, so I guess so. There are a few other temples, just as there are other Firstforged.

If you're still at Prima's, then you can probably see the lake down below. That would be the area of the next nearest Firstforged- Alpha Trion.

[Melan just added a point in his subtletly skill! Yipee!]

Others Firstforged? How many? What does that Alpha Trion do? [He wants to learn as much as he can from this world, so he can adapt better.]

Why everyone seems to dislike those Firstforged? The other ones I spoke with... They don't trust this "Prima", "Alpha Trion" or any other.

I'm...not sure how many. If anyone said, I've forgotten. I know there's at least...four or five. I've only spoken to Prima and Alpha Trion so far.

Um, I didn't ask Alpha Trion what he does. Mostly I just like going down by his lake because it kind of reminds me of places I know. Oh, there's a little farm around there too.

I guess some don't trust the Firstforged because they don't feel they're not doing enough. I think they're willing to do what they can, but they weren't expecting things like this to happen either.

They are... from this world. No brought here like us. And they... didn't expect us. I understand.

It's not very reassuring.

[Melan stares.] A... Farm? What is it?

I think I might go... "explore". I did it once. I want to see more of this place.

[He nods.] Yeah. But...they could have chosen to do nothing at all. Yet they're trying to help as they can.

A farm- it's...where people can grow things, like food! It's good for humans and whoever can't eat what the Cybertronians eat.

Exploring's helpful. It takes a while because the Haven's pretty big. Oh- be careful if you go outside of it though. You definitely don't want to go towards the Badlands.

Hm. [Melan can't really say anything for now. He doesn't know enough.]

Oh. I... see. I eat human food too. I will help in the farm, then. [And God knows he eats a lot.]

I heard about the Badlands. I won't go here, I promise. I willl stay in... Haven. I will go see those other temples. [Melan looks quite resolute.] Where do you live, yourself? In Prima's temple?

You do? Oh, well then I'm sure the help would be appreciated.

If you need anyone to help with a tour, I wouldn't mind it.

Me? Oh, that's right. I'm staying at Prima's. The rooms are...huge, but it's not too bad, I guess.

[It would give him something to do, because without a duty to perform, Melan feels kinda empty.] I will need to eat too. It's normal that I help.

You would give me a... tour? That would be very... nice of you. Can you fly? If not, I could take you flying. You seem light enough.

Sure! It makes things a little easier that way, right? I can't fly on my own power, but I have something that does. How do you fly?

[How he flies? How do YOU walk?] I have wings. It's... natural, I guess. I am used to take people flying too.
