So guys? Uh. Look. Two out of three of you are aware, but.

I guess while there's not some huge disaster going on we could talk about. Stuff?

I kind of have a thing. For all three of you. Surpriiiiise Percy... And uh. Look I know I kinda flipped out last time, but I'm starting to feel better and I'd like to discuss it.

I kinda got into this thinking all of you were an item, but I realized I was mistaken. That. Still doesn't change the fact that I'm really kind of into you all in a big way.

When he reaches her berth he stops, a tiny fidget giving away his nervousness. ]

[ Seeing him in person gives her a fresh rush of giddiness. ]

[ She tries to keep up with her usual nicknames but she's too flustered to really look like she's relaxed. ]

I must apologize in advance. When it comes to this sort of matter I am less than... adept.

[ He hesitates, then carefully offers her one hand. ]

I also forewarn you that I have never participated in any variety of romantic relationship with another species.

[ She offers hers, placing it in his much larger palm. ]

[ He sighs, shoulders slumping slightly, a little of the tension easing out of his frame. ]

[ He flops down on the berth beside her, sagging for a moment before reaching for her and, with just enough warning to avoid hurting her, gathers her up with her blanket and deposits her in his lap. ]

This must have been incredibly stressful.

[ Oh she's plenty happy for that. She curls up and nestles down. ]

Drift is being difficult, but that's nothing new. Hung up on me for no friggin reason. Just gotta... not take that personally. Try, try again.

[ She looks distinctly discouraged though. ]

[ Perceptor's chin dips, a frown clouding his expression. ]

[ He tentatively curls a hand over her. ]

Apparently Wing and I have damaged his self-esteem.

[ He says this with a certain flat exhaustion, shifting to curl up on the berth, Vandal held snug to his frame. ]

Which is ironic, considering how his behavior is affecting us--or at least me.

[ She shifts up slightly, venturing to plant a nervous kiss on his chin, which is what she can reach. ]

Wing, too? Man am I ever out of the loop... he did sound upset.

[ Perceptor tilts his head down to return the kiss, his own planted carefully on her forehead. He enjoys the acts of affection, no matter how tentative or small. ]

We were together, once. Then we weren't. When... When you saw us kiss, that day in the junk pile, I thought I was attempting to rekindle something that might still be there. I thought, since he returned it, that he was available. Interested. Later I discovered from an outside source that he was involved with Wing. I began avoiding him out of shame.

And now, here we are.

[ Even just that turns her face red. ]

I'm... so sorry, Perce. I guess this has been really confusing for all of us.

[ She rubs a hand over her face. ]

I wish I could offer you some insight but I'm kinda. In the dark on this.

I believe we all are, to some degree. There has been a consistent trend of lack of communication between all involved parties.

[ He falls silent, but soon his grip on her tightens slightly. ]

May I stay with you, for a while? I can leave if my presence disturbs you, or the medics.

Yeah, so I've noticed. Trying to break that combo here, but it's hard... in this situation.

[ She chuckles, wiggling her fingers into a gap in his side teasingly. ]

I can only hope that eventually this situation is resolved peacefully and to the satisfaction of all involved.
