[The video feed comes on to show Miko, a human girl with pink and black hair, sitting in a sprawled out manner. She has a lazy, self satisfied smirk in place and has a guitar case propped up next to her, while she leans back against an amp.]

So, I'm on Cybertron, and not just any Cybertron, a new one just being built. This rocks.

And not having to deal with some dorky space suit, total bonus.

Well I'm Miko, and I'm looking to see if there is anyone here that I know. Course I am totally up for meeting new people too!

[She pauses for a moment like she is going to shut off the communicator before she looks back up, an almost blank expression on her face, only a little bit of sadness showing through.]

Bulkhead, if you are here get a hold of me right away, okay?

[Huh. She must know Cybertronians already, then.]

There are many here. Who are you looking for, specifically?

Yeah, back home on earth I'm friends with a group of Autobots.

Well, I'm looking for a big green guy named Bulkhead first, he totally rocks and is my best friend ever, but there's also Ratchet, who is red and white, always grumpy, but not too bad of a guy. Um Maybe Optimus Prime, big guy with blue and red, very serious. Or there is Bumblebee, he is yellow with some black, he can't talk so only Raf understands him, and then there is Arcee, she is pretty small blue and pink, pretty, but pretty serious too.

I know Ratchet. He is staying in Solus Prime's temple. Though I have not seen the others before. They might still arrive, though; I am waiting for some people from my home to get here, too. Or they just might not have transmitted anything on the Link yet.

Oh, are you all alone here then?

I mean, obviously you aren't alone, alone, since we are all here together, but you don't have anyone from home?

I am the only one from my home here, yes. But I have been making friends and hope that someone else from home will arrive eventually.

Well before I arrived here I was staying in Jasper, Navada, U.S.A. but I was there as an exchange student, I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan.

If I did, my handlers were the ones that chose it. I am afraid my attention was usually focused elsewhere.

You are from Japan too? There are several of us here from Japan, but it seems you and I are the only ones that visited America.

Handlers? You mean, like, people to take care of all the things you need outside of the boxing ring?

They are not difficult to find and are very friendly. Gunmax speaks quite often on the Link. And it is not a bad idea to know those from your area, no.

Gottcha, I'll keep and eye, and an ear, out for the, girl can never have too many giant robot friends when there are creeper Decepticons around.

Human boxing was outlawed in 2014. I am a robot boxer, in the World Robot Boxing league.

[Because human boxing is uncouth. Better to let the robots go at each other.]

I have heard a little of these factions, but most bots here seem happy to help each other regardless of them.

Wait, so they made you and others just so you can beat each other up? That isn't fair!

That's good, it'd be nice not to have to worry about crazy stuff like that.

I have heard that many times since coming here. But it is my purpose and I enjoy boxing.

It is all right. But are most human-built machines not built for specific purposes?

[The Brave Police seem like they were built for something specific too, after all. Especially given their names.]

Of course. But it is better to look at the good, sometimes.

Yeah, they are but... most of them don't show even having an idea of existing... I mean a fridge doesn't say 'hi' to me when I go grab the milk. I mean it's not quite fair if you know there are other things out there to do, if you can't at least try them, to see if it's something else you would like to do too.

[Miko is just so much the rebel that she has a bit of an obsession with having all the options open for herself and for others.]

Not being able to communicate does not mean they are not sentient. My kind cannot communicate with humans normally, either; I have only been able to do so since coming here.

[Boxing bots have feelings, but cars might have them too.]

And I do not have much experience with professions outside of boxing.

Oh... I hadn't thought of that before... but that just means more things that can should be given the option of what they want to do. I wonder if my guitar likes being played or if it would want to do something else...

It might. But it might not be complex enough to be sentient, either.

I am uncertain. I was only programmed for boxing and do not have skills beyond that.
