[The network opens up to a very nice picture of what appears to be the face of some sort of stuffed animal pressed against the screen. It then pulls back, showing that this is an apparently disgruntled stuffed animal, and then smacks its face against the screen once more.

Rinse and repeat.]

[Whatever is on the screen is clearly alive, and by the looks of things ...trying to go through the screen of its device in some sort of weird last ditch effort to escape. Whatever was explained to this thing about the current situation fell on deaf ears. I'm sure he has a good reason for thinking this device is some kind of portal...]

GAAHAH! Someone get me outta here!

[He may or may not have accidentally turned his device on while slamming his face against it.]

[His enthusiasm doesn't last long, however, and questions start to fill his head. Questions that really bum him out. His ears droop slightly.]

So now that we're counting on each other, what do we do now? I dunno where to go...

Well, first we find your room.

[She figures if he was so excited over the phone he would love having his own room.]

And if you are hungry there is an area to go look for food.

[Yes, that is pretty exciting, he's never had his own room before.]

I have a room? Like with my own bed and everything?

[Don't even get him started on the food.]

Yup, all your own. You can do what ever you want in there too!

[Good, the idea worked, better to keep him thinking about good things, right? And that is something Miko is good at.]

Oh, that's okay. I used to do whatever I wanted anyhow, Yosuke didn't--

[He stops at the sudden realizing that having his own room means there will be a lack of Yosuke.

Although he's well aware that there's no question that he's slept alone before, he's not sure if he can go cold turkey so suddenly. This worries him.]

[Uhoh, that sudden quiet isn't good.]

Is Yosuke your friend? Did you stay with him before?

Yes and yes.

[He lowers his gigantic head.]

[Oh no, no sad times, that is the opposite of what she wants.]

I know I'm not Yosuke, but if you need someone to be around you can always come to me. For anything at all.

[I'm not sure Miko realizes what she just did. He can be a very clingy bear.]

R-Really?

[He's actually quite glad to hear that.]

[Nope, she has no clue, but doing things without thinking is her specialty.]

[Once again, he hugs, but at least this time his tears are more like tears of joy. Seriously, he couldn't handle the idea of being alone again.]

You're so kind! I-I'll do whatever you want!

Hey, it's okay, don't worry about it!

[She pats his head a bit.]

[He's not... he's not letting go at all. Knowing him, he's probably content staying like this forever.]

Can I sleep with you?

[Apologizes, he's a very forward bear.]

Sure thing!

[Miko doesn't even pause before answering. After all he is a giant teddy bear, what could be wrong with him sleeping with her?]

[Probably a lot of things, but he doesn't care! As soon as she agrees, his hug gets a little tighter for a bit, and his tail bobs up and down happily as he squeals in delight.

Perhaps for just a moment, just a moment, there's a bit of a mischievous smirk on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He gets to sleep with a girl.

Yosuke will be so jealous.

Of course, it only happens in about half a second and he goes back to his overly-cutesy display of joy as he nuzzles with his gigantic head.]

Thank you! I was really worried there for a sec. I didn't wanna sleep alone again, it's not fun at all.

[Miko is completely oblivious to the look as it passes, having too much fun hugging hugging him back.]

Well you won't have to sleep alone if you don't want to, you can always stay with me.

[After some good hugging, Teddie finally lets go and looks up at Miko, a smile on his face.]

Okay! You lead the way. I got no idea where the heck anything is, anyway.

Where do you want to go first?

[She holds out her hand for him.]

Your room?

[Oh, he will take that hand. It is his hand now and no one can tell him otherwise.]

If you'd please!

[She sets off down one of the hallways, leading him around.]
