I've been sifting through the junk pile and I found a few things of interest. A few hard drives, some music and films on them, haven't sorted through or formatted it yet, but if anyone's interested in some entertainment there's that.

Found some stuff I might be able to turn into a human-sized living space. Old mobile home. Kind of shitty, but a nice fat project to work on. But uh.

Can anyone help me haul this thing out? I mean, I got it dislodged, but my RIG only has so much moving power.

Also: Hey Max, you around? When are we going to do that whole drink until we can't stand thing?

There's a difference between teaching you how to pound out dents and taking you on as an apprentice, and I don't want you to take on a responsibility without being able to see it through.

Because I've been stinking up your medbay with my carcass for like. Two weeks and I have fived five microwaves, two stereo sytems and a fridge. I'm going insane, and I need to be useful.

I know exactly what I'm getting into. This isn't just a "hey I feel like this will be fun" kind of thing. You need more help, I need to validate my existence. Win-win.

I'm an engineer, Ratchet. It's not like you'd be teaching me from scratch.

There is ... a certain gravity involved with being induced into the medical profession, and I will admit to being hesitant in taking you on as a student, both due to our relative unfamiliarity and our difference in species.

Still, these aren't deal-breakers,and you've also provided some compelling reasons to go through with this, so why don't we try a probationary period? I'll train you in some basic first-aid and nursing techniques, and if you take to it, and you find it enjoyable, we'll... take things to the next step. If not, no hard feelings and I don't need to worry about letting loose a mad human with intimate knowledge of how my race's biology works.
