first mission ; video ; near prima's temple
[ So waking up happened. It was absolutely disorienting, and let Shepard tell you, she's already had a few of those 'out-of-body' experiences. Spoiler alert; every single one of them sucked. Flashbacks of dying weren't pleasant either; it took some concentration and a few deep breaths to remind her that all that was long since past. Getting out of the temple was a side quest in itself, but she's finally out in the open, hoping the lack of concrete and stone and whatever else the literal monument was made out of wouldn't mess with her frequencies.
She's pleasantly surprised, her Omni-tool is already adjusted to the frequency change. Completely recalibrated to the Link. Her expression wavers between suspicion and being impressed, and a few screens later, she's in the system. Her voice crackles for a moment as the audio syncs to the video. Hey, it's a Shepard. Her tone is rather cynical, despite her situation. She might still be in some disbelief at what she's been previously told. ]
So I'm not the only refugee then? Who else exactly is here?
[ She'd tell you who she is if she knew whether or not titles applied here. Shep's rather hesitant, after all, you never know who could be watching. ]

AGAIN.
This is getting to be a habit for her, isn't it. Oh well, let's skip formalities shall we?]
Picked a hell of a time to come here, Shepard.
Video
Oh well, formalities aren't something she exactly expected anyways. Humor her, she actually looks a little less worried about being here (nevermind that she shouldn't be, neither should the battlemaster.) ]
That must mean I missed all the fun.
Video
Considering the shit they put up with, worry is like waaay low on the Krogan's list.]
Some fun you missed. These synthetics are shooting each other left and right.
A lot like Tuchunka, but with more paperwork.

[ But hey, points for politeness, the last guy---well you can probably see. ]
The same way you got here! Meaning--taken.
And I am Mirage~
[There's a slight bow and a flick of those door wings. Are you talking about the silver bot? AHAHA...funny story about that one...]

Do you want the list alphabetically or in order of importance? Course, I don't know everyone who's here but I know a number of them.
[Hi Shepard, have the image of a sixteen or so girl with black hair that has some faded pink tips towards the end talking to you. She would have more pink but there hasn't been any bleach or dye lately.]
Oh, and do you have any questions? I've been here a long while and can answer at least some of them.
Video
Well, let's start with the obvious; what do you base importance on?
[ Spitting image of what Shepard imagined teens like her on Earth were like; it sort of made her smile. ]
Video
Then there are the attacks from stuff outside Haven, monsters mostly. Sometimes things happen that are worse, one time people showed up without the glyphs, which protect us from the badlands, and they were okay for a bit, but then they went crazy and even killed people, cause most people didn't want to think their friends would hurt them.

[Do you like words, Shepard? Because you'll get some now. Long-winded explanation, go.]
All of us displaced here through the time-space anomaly that seems capable of connecting not only to... er, multiple alternate universes where a Cybertron exist, but further out as well, into realities where there is no Cybertron and thus lacking a common denominator.
It does mean, however, that you might see duplicates of some of us cybertronians at least, since there's more than one reality with us, and... ah.
[Jetfire pauses, tilting his helm, and maybe it's just the fact that he paused to catch himself and consider what to say next (especially in bringing up that he's pretty sure she's been here before, or an alternate of, anyway) that he remembers to stop and actually introduce himself, but that's what he ends with.]
I'm Jetfire.
[Might be simpler to end there than immediately bringing up other versions of herself having been here before, after all.]
Cybertronians, I'm going to fathom a guess that they're...mostly metal based. Mechanoids fall out of that category just slightly.
[ That derails her entire train of thought. ]
So how would I be able to tell a non-Cybertronian from a real one?
It's...nice to meet you. Most everyone just calls me Shepard.
... and he's just long-winded.]
So far, there hasn't been any suggestion of a reality mingling metal and organic matter together in our frames, no. And that... ah, well.
[He smiles, dryly and shrugs.]
Might be somewhat difficult if only because the designs vary across alternate realities, but most of us keep to a span within ten to thirty feet tall, and usually there will be identifiable vehicle, or, in some cases, animal parts, as we can transform... and you could always ask.

[Audio]
We seem to have a fair share of those here.
[Audio]
Been hearing a lot of that from a few different synthetics. Hopefully nothing wrong with that.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
