This isn't quite how I thought I would be returning to Cybertron. Then again, I didn't think that I would find myself being pulled from one universe to the next like another I know of either.

[ and he'd like to be able to figure out how it is possible, but he can save that for another time. ]

Now I'm sure that those who are listening to this are likely tired of answering the same questions over and over again. I apologize that I have to ask said questions. Any mech who would offer more answers than what I have just received would have my gratitude and I would strive to return the favor.

So I have been informed and yet again I find myself cursing my luck. While I do wish I could have been here sooner to see him face to face, it will happen soon enough and I should just be content knowing he had been well looked after.

He was, yes. Though mostly he did the looking after. A bizarre change . . . but a welcome one.

[Oh, PIT, it's been too long since he's talked to another flyer. He's suddenly realizing how much he's REALLY MISSED having a wingmate to fly with.]

He is like that - more concerned with the welfare of others than his own. It can be irritating at times.

Yeah . . . did my best by him when he'd let me.

Hm. Have you been offered a tour of Haven yet? [a pause] You're a flyer, right? Seeker?

[The only thing that'd be more "wrong" than a polite Starscream would be a flightless one.]

[ and Starscream falls silent, for a moment. "Seeker," huh? ]

I can fly, yes... Seeker? That is a group under Prime's command.

[ he is no Seeker. ]

[He starts to comment, stops...looks like he's about to try again but then changes his mind on /what/ he's going to say.]

Reverse...right. Let me guess, they're groundpounders of some kind?

Built for speed, but yes, all ground bound vehicles.

Hmn. Another difference between our realities, then.

In mine, I am a Seeker. We are the highest class of aerial builds. [a smirk - he can't help it, he /is/ still borderline-arrogantly proud of what he is, always will be] We are built for speed too, I'll grant that parallel. Speed and power. And there's not a single one of us among the Autobots.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same here. There is a Seeker amongst our numbers that defected from the Autobots.

When you say builds... You mean to say this is your natural frame?

Mostly. I've had a slight modification so that my alt-mode matches one of the aerial vehicles native to the planet my group found ourselves on last. My fully natural frame's alt is a Tetra.

We don't have natural alt forms... The technology to transform is still relatively new, actually. Unfortunately, this means that my frame had never been designed to fly until the modifications had been made.

[Okay, that makes him GAPE openly for a moment. But then he'll recover himself.]

Huh . . . okay . . . you're a flyer now, though? [Right!?]

Yes, I am and I must say that I may take some pride in it. Soaring through the sky is... It's quite exhilarating.

[The grin is somewhere between a smirk and genuine.]

Yeah, it is. There is nothing greater than the freedom of the skies. [That part, if nothing else, is sparkfelt.] Anyone ever teach you how to fly properly, though, or did you have to figure it out yourself? I'll show you some tricks of the trade if you'd like.

[He doesn't actually mean that as an insult. He's just remembering how much trouble Fracas had first learning to fly. The former grounder couldn't even manage to coast in a straight line until Thundercracker worked with him a little bit.]

Naturally I had to learn. There was no one capable of teaching the mechanics of a new technology. I've managed thusfar... Though I would not be opposed to learning more.

[ gonna rise to the challenge. Starscream might be a little bit of a show off in flight... not that TC needs to know this right away. ]

[If there's one thing Thundercracker prides himself in and shows off at…it's his prowess in the air. Like a challenge? Expect to be pushed. All for fun, of course.]

[ "shortly" is after checking in with Cliffjumper. but sure enough, there is ( 1 ) Cybertronian jet with red and white in the sky, zipping along and - you guessed it - doing loops. ]

[The red and white scheme is familiar enough, and a surprisingly comforting sight (considering his own trine leader's general character). Thundercracker's not had anyone to fly with since Skywarp disappeared on him. Feeling playfully ornery, he'll "greet" the other flyer by heading straight in and . . . flying through one of Starscream's loops, turning a lazy corkscrew as he does.]

[ he hasn't mentioned it openly yet, but this TC's particular paintjob is much easier on the optics than what Starscream is used to seeing. of course anyone could see his reality's version of TC coming a mile away... hard not to, really.

at the greeting, which has the flier inwardly smiling, he spins out of his loop, giving a bit more to his thrusters to catch up to the other. ]

[That's okay - Ravage has already broken his processor a little once before mentioning what his counterpart looks like. Yyyyyyyyeah, he'll readily keep his more ~~dignified~~ subdued blue theme.]

[Chuckling, Thundercracker opens his comm as he eases off his own thrusters a little...just a little.]

Not bad, not bad.

[ Starscream is just getting warmed up, thank you. he's got a few other tricks that he's capable of. ]

I see you're in high spirits.

[ is that a pun? it might be. ]

[That earns him a laugh.]

Flying always puts me in "high spirits".

[He's no good at puns, but he can play back at least some when he's of a mind to.]

So, show me what you've taught yourself?

[ neither does he, really. that's more Soundwave's thing. doesn't mean he isn't going to give it a go once or twice. ]

Something we can agree on - much like your choice in colors. I forgot to mention how easy they are on the optics than the neon I am accustomed to seeing.

[ and while there is a part of him that does want to show off, best take it slow. nothing fancy here, but Starscream does turn, opting to cruise along with his cockpit facing the ground as opposed to the open sky. he holds it for about three seconds before correcting his form. ]
