[Not so much as a single scrape or even a chip appears on Ironhide's hand. He might as well be mashing it into a bucket of water for all the effect it has on him. He doesn't even flinch, either.]

[After a good minute or two of repeatedly punching the wall with what appears to be all his strength, the big soldier subsides.]

I know I'm tough, but... Primus, even for me, this ain't right. I can't transform either. Not even a little bit.

[What is a "little bit" of a transformation, Ironhide.]

I can't say that anything's been happening to me directly, but it looks like there's more than a little weird going around.

Explaining would suffice. What if all the damage you are doing to yourself is still there but you just can't feel it? [Is there a robotic version of CIPA? maybe Ironhide is the first case.]

I know that makes you lose your ability to transform, and while I'm not sure you ought to end up that resilient, it's... similar enough.

I think exposure is enough so that depends what you might have passed by, and you never know. [She grins, dryly.] While it could have been an accident, people do thing like that intentionally as well.

Grim intentionally searched it out and used it, both on himself and the other dinobots, to, hopefully, fix them. You never know.

[Of course, given Rose's predicament, maybe this isn't nucleon, even if Ironhide's "symptoms" seems the closest to that. The possibility of more energon crystals...]
