[There's a new face on the com link today. A woman with dark black hair that seems to have life on its own, blue skin and red eyes with a yellow sclera that stare at the screen with a piercing look, smile never faulting. She's beautiful in the same way a fire is beautiful. Get too close and you might not make it out alive.

She's floating on mid air at the top of Prima's tower, wispy smoke where her legs should be. Unlike other newcomers she listened to the basic explanations of the acolytes and then left to explore around the Haven and learn from herself.]

I suppose it was only a matter of time before such a thing as this came about the cosmos, an inter-dimensional portal malfunctioning, dragging us together.

[Doesn’t that alarm her in the slightest? No, not at all. She was bothered by the black marking on her arm but her annoyance didn't last long. Eris feels Unicron's presence in the planet, another chaos god, another destroyer, lurking around the corners of the weaker minds here...It makes her smile. It's not every day that she crosses paths with one of her own kind.]

Precious little mortal puppets, how I have missed interacting with you all. This place is the most beautiful chorus of anguish I've heard in a millennium. Insanity, destruction and strife, and all that without my help. Oh and most of you aren't humans, that’s even better. Who knows what you could do, there are so many possibilities…I’m going to like playing here.

Hmmm... I'd ask what that one thing was, but there might be children watching, so I'll pass.

[He just looks confused for a moment at the comment about his hair. Apparently his world never had that particular superstition.]

It's red and you know what they say about redheads. [She tilts her head, her hair flowing around her.] Never say never. I might see that as a challenge.

You don't know much about gods, don't you? Trying to overtake each other is practically how we say 'hello'. I expect nothing less.

And you never told me your name, are you shy....?

[And where Axel comes from, he could buy ice cream from some moogles and an anthropomorphic duck without batting an eye. They had far more interesting things than hair color to be superstitious about.]

Actually, I don't know what they say; red hair wasn't seen as anything particularly weird where I'm from. Though apparently that wasn't the case in your world. What do they say about redheads there?

I make a point of not sharing my life story with anyone who has a crazier hairdo than me. And that policy has worked out pretty well so far.

[Axel just smirks a bit.]

Can't say I do, other than the fact that Hades is kind of an asshole.

But I know what happened to me when I was brought here, and I know that not only are you now on Unicron's home turf, but that he also controls the Lambda, that big thing in the sky that you came here through. I'm just saying, maybe you should check and make sure you made it through intact.

And it's more like cautious. I may not know much about gods, but I have been around enough to know not to volunteer information to somebody who calls people 'mortal puppets' without a good reason. Anyway, the name's Axel. Got it memorized?

[As strange as all that sounds, Eris Si pretty sure that none one can top gods in terms of how weird things can get when they get involved.]

Some people believe that people with red hair are malicious and had an evil disposition. [And by the face Eris is making, barely containing her laughter, you can tell she finds that totally absurd.]

Uncle never has been all that popular among mortals. Or gods for what matters.

I'll keep that in mind and have a private time with myself later to make sure everything's in order. Unless you want to give me a hand with that.

And you and Hades are related? Well, that explains the blue skin. Though I think he's got you beat in that hairdo department, given that he has fire for hair. Kinda pity whoever you guys' stylist is.

As for being anyone's puppet though, well... [smirk] Let's just say I haven't felt like cooperating with destiny lately. And according to one of my friends, the trend continues back home.

Some bad things, some things that were just dumb in hindsight. Some of them I regret, yeah. Some I don't. Though none of them are really any of your business. Besides, it'd take too long to tell it all right now anyway; long, complicated story.

...Yeeaah, I'm getting that sense too. If you were around in my world, I'm pretty sure we'd have heard about it by now. And yeah, he is that. When he's not planning on doing something horrible to you anyway; that kinda takes all the fun out of it.

Eh, maybe. [shrugs] I like to think that if I don't manage to annoy everyone I come in contact with at some point, at least a little bit, I must be doing something wrong. These 'Fates' of yours are no exception.

Course, given the whole 'other worlds' thing, who knows whether your world's rules even apply to mine? Or this one, for that matter.

Yeah. From what I've seen, the rules from one world seldom apply to all others. Tends to make things interesting. Or difficult, depending on your point of view.

Not sure I'd exactly call this joy, but I try and keep it positive. This isn't that bad a place, all told, other than the whole 'not being able to leave' thing.

True, but I think most people would agree that a lack of Heartless running around is generally a good thing. Even for an immortal, since I don't know if you'd be immune to them or not, given they don't exactly kill you.

[Then again, she could probly control the Heartless, for awhile at least, but not revealing that either.]

Very icky things. Creatures made of pure darkness that steal and consume people's hearts to replicate themselves. And I don't mean the physical kind of heart that pumps blood; I mean the heart as in what lets you feel things and form connections to people, basically what makes you you.

So yes, generally bad things to have around, for most people.

And I figured I could just watch over the comm here. I mean, I gave a demonstration of my skills for people that way awhile back, so I don't figure it'd be that much harder for for a goddess.

Fine, but I only agree because you are cute. It's not easy to prove those things form a distance. [Eris disappears in mid air and reappears down Prima's tower, it only took her a few seconds. But she knows that teleportation won't prove much to him.]

Do you want to see a trick, Axel? [She's still smoke and not really 100% corporeal so she makes the claws on her hand grow and then stabs herself in the chest with her own hand. Her smile never falters as her hand, up to her wrist, it's still in her torso.]

Let's just say I've seen enough to not completely discount anything.

[She's right in that the teleporting doesn't impress him; he can do much the same himself... The stabbing on the other hand (heh) gets an arched eyebrow.]

OK... not really sure if I should be impressed or disturbed. So I think I'll settle for a bit of both. Not bad.
