WATER [Open to all players!]
(OOC: Let me know if I'm doing this wrong--like, if this is the incorrect format for this re-aligned comm or something, I know there's more than one, and I'm sorta a little confused on which is for which? Anyway, here goes....)
Is this thing on?
[Korra lightly bangs at something, frowning--the screen shakes. She gives a big exaggerated sigh, then continues.]
Okay, I heard there were some other humans like me out here, so given that, I wanted to ask if any of you guys have found water? Like, any water at all, a pool, a river, even a freakin' flask of it? And y'know, same question to anyone, Cybertronians or spirits or whatever--have you seen water?
[Korra blinked, then added in a rush.]
And in case there's anyone who doesn't realize, water's a big deal for humans like me, we need it to survive.
[Korra moves to turn off the screen.]
Okay, that's it, hopefully someone gets in touch with me about this--
[Korra stretched too far or too fast, because she flinches, irritating the wound on her back. No way is she going to ask aloud for medical help. If she can find water, she can heal herself, thank you very much. But then the thought occurred to her--if there were other humans like her, were there like any other healers among them? What if there...weren't? A panicked expression suddenly flashes across Korra's face.]
Um, actually, quick head count--are there any human healers out there that can, y'know, heal...humans?
[Korra's expression distinctly reads without words, 'That sounded lame.']
Well, I'll, uh, raise my head first--or is it hand--?
[Korra shakes her head, raises a hand.]
Whatever, I can heal as long as I have water--it's a bending thing--uh, and that's a thing where I manipulate the water to like do whatever I want including heal the human body. So if there's a human out there who's hurt and has water or can find water, you can come to me for help.
[Korra paused, trying to think of anything else to add. She slowly shrugged.]
Okay, that's definitely it now...so, um, bye, hope to see someone with info on water soon.
[End transmission.]

"I found ice near sir Liege's fortress would that work for organics? I know you need fluids in a daily basis and ice is basically hardened water you could try to add heat to turn it back to water again but I don't know how sanitary that ice might really be."
Re: [Video]
That's awesome news! Thank you so much--ah, what's your name? Mine's Korra.
[Korra crosses her arm, confident.]
Ice shouldn't be a problem, I can just bend it back into a liquid.
[She frowns though, putting a hand to her chin.]
But how sanitary it would be...that is a good question....
[Korra shrugs.]
My Sifu once had to drink from the water she bent from, and that should've had at least some swampy stuff after using it to fight a swamp monster. That doesn't sound sanitary either, but she made do, and she survived to have grandkids.
[She rubs her chin again.]
Though I could boil the water--I think that should make it clean? Or probably just bend any dirty stuff out, if I find any.
[Korra blinks.]
Um, where is this Liege guy's fortress?
You are welcome miss Korra. I am Agent BLURR member of the Elite Guard a intelligence gathering body that exists within the Autobot fraction. [He points to his chest. Look he got an insignia and everything, isn't it cool?] Bendit? I don't think that changing its shape will help much to melt ice.
[He just looks confused while haring the story. Bend water? What..how is that even possible?] ...boil it would be the safest procedure in my opinion.
It's one of the darkest part of this world I'm not sure if it's safe for a human to go alone and the temperatures are very low there hence the frozen water.
Re: [Video]
'Intelligence gathering?' [Sorta sounds like the Dai Li to her.]
'Bending' is the name my world uses for manipulating the elements--like this--
[And Korra lights up a fire in her hand to demonstrate, swirls it around some, then lets it die out.]
I can just make the ice melt back into water with that sort of control.
Boiling it is then. Thanks.
[Korra frowns.]
I'll have to prepare for that sort of trip.
[Rubs irritably at her bare, cut arms.] Definitely need to find warmer clothes--I can probably take the cold just like this, but not for very long.... [If only she had her fur coat with her. If only she had Naga.]
[Video] sorry for the slow replies, busy days at work I got a new job~
We are specialists and masters in our fields and u-sua-lly the Elite guards units are only called upon in the most dire of situations such as a Decepticon attack. We protect others as well as we can. I CANT SAY I'VE HEARD OF BENDING BEFORE but it looks really interesting I would like to know more about it IF you don't mind sharing.
It would be safer and faster if I go there and cut a piece of ice for you I can lead you there in the future once we find you proper clothes.
Re: [Video] woah, no problem, I know, RL, and congrats on the new job! :D
So you're like a cop? Decepticons...is there a war going on in your world? I've been hearing a lot about 'Cons and 'Bots now.
Sure, what else would you like to know? [Korra considers, then gestures to the band of stone and dirt wound around one of her cut arms.] I can earthbend too. [And she makes the earth band float off and warp into different shapes in mid-air. Then she gestures and has it fit back around her arm.]
[Korra blinks.]
Wow, that's--that would be really great, thanks!
[Korra smiles, grateful. But then she frowns.]
I guess you've got enough fuel, right, for a return trip to there? I was talking with some robot guys from earth, and they need gasoline, and they've been looking for it too, it's like me looking for water and food. And I think Slipstream was saying you guys use something else, but you can also use gas?
[Video] Thank youuu! And thankfully the weekend's there.
A cop? A yes yes you could say that I guess it's more or less and appropriate term. [More like the FBI, Korra. At the mention of the war Blurr looks like she just slapped him.]
No, not...yet. I was in Earth monitoring Optimus Prime and his company as well as gathering information about the Decepticons activity and trying to find a double agent that has been infiltrated in our fraction for more than few cycles already. I intercepted a communication between Megatron and the unknown double agent confirming that The Decepticon leader. The spy that contacted the Decepticons was not who we thought it was but SHOCKWAVE . I was trying to report the identity of the real Decepticon spy to my superior Longarm Prime and…And.....I failed my mission. Longarm was really Shockwave in disguise... he trapped me and crushed me between two walls and I never got to warn Ultra Magnus or the Council about the incoming Decepticon attack. ThenIwokeuphere."
It's not a problem really. What temple are you in? I have Vector's marks. AND yes don't worry about me I was used to fuel myself with oil when on earth but my kind usually drinks energon to live and that substance it's available here even if it's been so much time since I drank any.
YoushouldbecarefularoundSlipstreamsshesaDecepticon.
(ooc. you can assume he went to get the ice and brought it back to Korra)
Re: [Video] Thank youuu! And thankfully the weekend's there.
[Korra levitates it back to her quarters.]
You can come in here, if you want. Probably fits you better, it's like having my own castle here....
Oh, so it's not a Ratchet from your world?
[Korra really looks sympathetic. That sounds rather familiar to her.]
Sorry. I know the feeling. I just failed my mission before waking up here, too.
[Korra hesitates, but continues. It sounded like Blurr had just confessed a lot to her. Where to start?]
I was born as the, um, the Avatar. The latest in what's sort of a long line of peacekeepers in my world. I came to train in Republic City, but it's more messed up than I thought. Those who can't bend--well, a lot of them are feeling oppressed and joining the Equalist movement and their leader Amon to lead a pretty crazy revolution. But then one of the city's councilmen, Tarrlok, he--well, he kinda snapped and began arresting innocent people just because they couldn't bend, thinking all of them had Equalist ties. I tried to stop him...but couldn't, and those people were arrested anyway, along with my friends.
[Korra has her arms folded, her hands starting to bite into her arms in between the cuts.]
I went to see Tarrlok again, to-- ['intimidate me as well', Tarrlok had essentially said in that low, knowing voice] --to make him free those people and my friends. He tried to get me back on his side--we'd worked together before, and that didn't end well either, not for me anyway--and I told him no, and then we...we stopped talking and just started fighting. Tarrlok really was a better waterbender than I thought.
[Korra shuddered, and growled.]
But I almost had him! I-- ['I almost killed him without giving him a chance to surrender']
--but he was a bloodbender, and I had no idea, and I--I have no defense against bloodbending. [A powerful waterbender is able to resist bloodbending, Katara was able to--but then again, Katara had resisted it on a full moon. How the hell could Tarrlok bloodbend without a full moon?]
[Korra blinked. She wearily said.]
Bloodbending is a very powerful--and forbidden--form of waterbending. The human body has a lot of water inside, in our blood...so, if a waterbender's strong enough [and usually with a full moon] he or she can control the blood inside of someone. Make them submit and just...take control of the whole body.
[Korra rubbed the back of her neck.]
I was useless, his bloodbending kept me useless. Then Tarrlok stuffed me into the back of his satomobile, and drove away. He told me I'd never see Republic City again.
[Korra spread her arms out, had them slap against her sides.]
Then I woke up here. I don't know if Tarrlok had anything to do with this, but I doubt it; I don't think even he could.... But this is pretty much what he wanted....
[Korra began to count on her fingers.]
So, I'm apparently out of the picture, and I didn't get to tell anyone Tarrlok's a bloodbender and how off his rocker he really is, and he'll still be on that council calling all the shots. And I couldn't bust those people or my friends out of jail. And this'll probably just gain Amon more followers, and Tarrlok is going to just push harder, and they're just going to keep escalating and escalating until Republic City does break out into a war while I'm stuck here--!
[Korra literally breathed fire. Bad habit she's getting into. She takes a breath, no fire, then rubs a weary hand down her face.]
...So, um, you mentioned Slipstream? That I need to be careful around her? Funny, I think she was sorta saying the same thing in a roundabout way.... But what does being a Decepticon have to do with anything?
[How are you even doing that. Ice is not metal, you can't use magnetism to levitate it. All that bending is so fascinating. Blurr follows her but looks around warily. He doesn't like enclosed spaces after being crushed to death. Who can blame him?] No not the same from my world but I'm quite certain he's from the same world as Wheeljack.
[Blurr listens, paying attention to her body language as well as her words. It always tells him a lot about the person he's communicating with. However, is not hard for anybody to tel that the other person is irritated and anxious if said person is breathing fire. Blurr's a bit impressed by that.He narrows his eyes at the waterbending part, imagining how bad it was.]
Take it easy Korra nothing of what's happening it's your fault and -as-far-as-I-know is not Tarrlok's either IT WAS the lambda what brought us here at least that's what the Firstforgeds said.
I'm sorry you had to go to through that. I think you need a break do you want to go for a ride? IcantellyoumoreaboutDecepticonswhilewedothat.
Re: [whoops yeah, action now, sorry about that]
[Korra blinks.]
...Wait, 'crushed--?'
[The wheels in Korra's head are turning.]
It sounds like the Lambda thing saved you then, actually. From getting crushed to, uh, to death, I mean.
A ride? Really?
[With a stab of homesickness, Korra's reminded of Naga. She shakes herself. That does sound appealing though.]
I--yeah, sure, I'm up for a ride. Thank you, Blurr.
[Action] it's okay
Yes a ride IT will distract you a bit. Youarewelcomeitsnotaproblem! [And a few seconds later he turns into a futuristic sport car in front of her. One door opens and, while Blurr's face is not visible, his voice can be heard clearly.] Feel free to get in.
