Afraid you're stuck in a sci-fi movie. The jury is still out on if it's a good or bad one, though.

Don't you know? There's always a sequel. It's easier than Hollywood coming up with new ideas.

And they'll probably recast everyone and expect no one to notice.

Yep. Even worse, the new character they add to the cast is someone's twin, who was never mentioned in the original because they're a black sheep with a mysterious past.

Now we're getting into bad soap opera territory, handsome. I would like to avoid having a long lost sister.

No need to be so narrow in the focus, ma'am; I'd personally prefer to avoid having a long lost anything.
Unless it happens to be a long lost wealthy uncle who left me his vast fortune.

Oh, giant alien robots, apparently some occasional monster attacks. Talking bears. You know, the usual. It's not completely awful.

Sadly compared to home, it really is not that bad. I was thinking about moving, but never thought I'd end up on another planet.

Well, if you're going to move, you might as well go big, right? Though I think I should be concerned, if things were that bad where you're from.

It was an Earthquake that pretty much took out the entire city. There's nothing really ... left there now.

Gotham was always a broken city, but she kept on going. Now she's just ruins.

I've seen way too much of that lately, myself. I'm not familiar with Gotham, but it sounds like an awful ordeal. Here's hoping she can pull herself together again.

But I've heard that around here we're needed to pull this entire world together.

I don't remember signing up for public community service. Why would they need a bunch of random people anyway?

Beats me. I don't think they even control who falls out of that big rift in the sky. But now we're stuck here.
