I have a proposal to the Law Committee and my fellow medics.

There are a significant number of citizens within the Haven, and our population is slowly growing. I think it's time to set up some form of health care, in order to insure that everyone is in peak physical condition. To start with, I suggest we have mandatory monthly check-ups for all species. These check-ups will not be invasive nor will they take very long.

[This will also force those who think they're too tough for medical care to have to submit to her medical care. She'll keep you all healthy whether you like it or not.]

If anyone has any comments or suggestions, now is a good time to bring them up.

The committee can't force others to come to the medbay, no matter what laws they decide to set. That's just not how things work. Thinking differently just proves my point about you being naive.

We are on an unfamiliar Cybertron. Who knows what diseases or other contaminants we can pick up at any moment. I would rather head it off early rather than wait for patients to come to me.

And who knows what effects it may have on you organics.

Not a bad idea in the least. Though I'm interested in how you'll get them t'cooperate. Most folks I know wanna avoid medics like the plague.

It sounds like a good idea to me. Perhaps making it mandatory is a bit too strong, but having the option open would be nice for those of us who would prefer to stay in one piece.

There are too many bolt-heads here who believe that they're too tough to see a medic when they're in need of care. Making it mandatory will at least keep them alive for a while.

Good idea. I'm all for it. Though of course we'll need to go through some red tape to get it approved. The... Law Committee may... may approve, but I wouldn't put all your faith in them making the... the right decisions.
