[It was odd going from passing out in a wasteland on Cybertron to waking up in a building on Cybertron. What was even more weird was the fact that Bee didn't recognize the building nor did he recognize the bot--the Acolyte?--that was there to greet him when he woke, explaining things to him and informing him that he was on Cybertron but not the one he was familiar with.

...Because that made lots of sense.

Bee sat on the edge of his berth, confused and irritated, staring at the communicator that he'd activated once he was left alone.]

So this is either some strange hallucination or a cruel joke and I'm not sure which one I feel more inclined to believe at the moment.

[Because this just..it couldn't be real. There was no way.]

Ironhide? Prowl? Are either of you getting this? I have no idea where I am--or why I'm suddenly completely fine--but I'd really like to get out of here.

... NAILS? [Sorry, he's going to stop there because the rest almost seemed, you know... perfectly possible, but acronyms could be troublesome sometimes.]

And that slagging rust-heap Megatron seems to have a thing for comin' back, 'cause that's basically what ended up happenin' for us too. [With a grunt, Cliffjumper shrugged.] Though I get the feelin' we got more time to rebuild 'cause it took several years before he popped up again.

And we didn't have to completely start over.

[Yeah, that's the upper ridges of Cliffjumper's optics and the edges of his helm going up before his mouth twists a little.]

Mech who think they can just sit aside are fraggin' annoyances but that kinda makes it sound like they ain't cybertronian.

[Not that they had to deal much with those who hadn't chosen... Mostly because there hadn't been many who'd been capable of up and leaving after the Decepticons' initial strikes.]

He dies, disappeares, comes back, dies again... and then there's the future alternates as well. [With a grimace, Cliffjumper tosses his arms out.] I mean, we're lucky Prime had similar luck, but yeah. You'd wish that sorta luck when it came to a sludge-spewing, rusty slagger like Megatron would be given to other people.
cliffjumper: (er what - hmph)

Yeah well, that only works until and unless the 'Cons let ya not fight. And I dunno 'bout yours, but considerin' how the ones from my original reality is?

They wouldn't.

[He huffs a little, frustrated. While he wouldn't trust someone who just up and left because they didn't want to fight (and wouldn't particularly listen to them either), that was their business if they managed to get away, but when the Decepticons aren't interested in letting you not fight, well...]

Yeah, seems like it. I wonder 'bout the fraggin' logic and fairness in that, but I suppose fairness ain't something taken into consideration for it.
