We can drink, but we can also fuel using a generator hooked to our fuel lines in our arms.

Ah, there are several methods, at least for those of us who come from the dimension I do...

[Jetfire pauses, frowning slightly and rubbing his chin.]

While those methods could also of course be present in cybertronians from other realities, I won't presume as such. But we can either drink it in root mode, which, truly, is the main function of our mouth.

[Since some who have masks don't actually - for whatever reason - have a mouth beneath.]

Then we can always refuel when in our alternate modes, through a receptable made for that. Lastly, if there's abundant energon energy and radiation in the air, as from energon's raw crystal form... [He pauses and shakes his helm.] Which, admittedly, can be somewhat hazardous due to the high concentration of radiation and energy, and not recommended for any length of time...

Or there's enough energon we can submerge ourselves in it, there's ambient absorption circuits through our frames which can be activated. Those aren't really effective when around small amounts of energon, however.
