[Video] ...What IS gasoline? What's it made of? [Locked to Gunmax/Deckerd/McCrane/Brave Police]
In my world, I know it can make Satomobiles or cars and Satocycles and mopeds move...but that's it.
I never thought about what makes it up.
So...what's inside it?
And, huh, where does gas normally come from anyway? I think it has to be put into vehicles, right? So then it must come from somewhere else...?

...Really eloquent of me to say, but I think there are others that could explain it better.

Ugh, I can't explain it! I'm the wrong guy to talk about this sort of thing. Sorry, Korra; I'll let Deckerd and McCrane get technical with you.

Thanks for the assist!
Actually, have you guys found any gas by now?
no subject
We found a little bit more, but... [He isn't interested in worrying Korra, but if they don't get more soon, they may not last long.] Mm, no big deal. We'll figure it out.

I think Slipstream was saying they didn't need gas per se, but they could use it too? Like, they could use more than one fuel?
no subject
I know some of the other Cybertronians mentioned energon. I have no idea what that is or if we could even use it.

you know that's a pretty good question I always wrote my tags individually 8/
Gasoline is a combustible fuel used in most engines.
Does that make sense?
[He read wikipedia a lot in his offtime shhhhh.]
Re: i just figured it out--copy/paste, and switch out the right words
Welp there you go!
Thus why it's called "fossil fuel".
Re: Welp there you go!
I didn't know, um, the dead could do that....
Okay, I'm tired of beating around the bush, I was asking because I thought I could...
[Then it occurs to Korra, and she brightens.]
Oh, you said gas or fossil fuels are whatever are underground, right? I don't know if I can bend the gas or fossil fuel myself, but I can definitely bend the earth around it, help you dig it out!
[Then Korra frowns.]
Though finding it could be a problem, unless I had like a sample of it, and then maybe I could sense it out with earthbending...or maybe you guys would know how to find it....or we could just randomly dig...?

[Is it like what she said she could do with water? He's curious now.]
Well- wow. I wouldn't know where to start looking, though. And we'd have to find some way to refine it into gasoline instead of just crude oil. I wonder if anyone around here is a chemist.
I may know what ut is, but I'm no scientist.

[Korra gestures, and makes the stone band around her arm unwrap and shift into different shapes in mid-air. She gestured again, reformed them back into the band, wrapping around her arm.]
If you don't know, then maybe it doesn't matter what direction you try? [Korra frowns.] Though random searching like that could be just a waste of time and energy. Maybe you'll have to find someone that would know where to find gas, or even sense it? Refine--it needs to be refined--what does that mean--? Hmmm... I kinda sorta saw on Swindle's feed this Megamind guy act like this big scientist. Maybe he knows chemistry? ...Um, what exactly is chemistry? Not like it's not in my world, I'm pretty sure it is, I'm just not the scientific type either.

[Oh so many questions. You're worse than Power Joe and Drill Boy combined (haha, because they do. Combine that is. Right.) He doesn't mind it too much though.]
Hmm, I think we'd be better off asking one of the bots in charge, actually. I might seek one of them out and see what I can find out.
Megamind? Thank you, I'll message him later and see if he's willing to help us!

(OOC: LOL, I think Korra can get carried away, especially in a strange place like this.]
Huh, good idea.
Your welcome, hope that helps.

I noticed your...ah...abilities.
[Because he has an idea.]
Considering that there are some intact vehicles around, I wonder if you would be able to remove the gasoline from them.
no subject
Y'know what, yeah, let's give it a shot!
[Though Korra frowns, considering.]
Well, hmm, maybe not to raise your hopes up too high...but I was trying to ask about what was in your gas before, because if there's any water or even earth in it, I can definitely bend it. But if there isn't....
[Korra shakes her head.]
But there's no better way to check than to actually try it out! Are these vehicles in the junkyard?
(OOC: So, the result--do you think Korra can bend gas? Is there enough water or even earth in it?)
no subject
[He sets down one of the plastic jugs, turning to look back toward where he'd found the cars at. One of them had been in near-running condition, but without the keys he hadn't been able to tell how much gasoline was inside.]
There is no water in gasoline. [He shakes his head.] But Earth...hm. [One hand rises to his chin, thinking.]
That depends on your definition of 'earth.' Are you capable of moving every type of rock?
(OOC: will be leading into actionspam soon, you think?)
(Sure! I'd like to have them meet in person.)
[He has to get used to this 'bending' thing, but...given how much he's having to get used to lately, its easier than the rest.]
Toph could bend rocks. [He states, just confirming.] And you are capable of matching that feat?
Re: (Sure! I'd like to have them meet in person.)
I can definitely bend rocks. Is there something like rocks in gasoline? I think it was said before that it comes from fossil fuel...and fossils have some rocks in them, right?
no subject
Well...yes and no.
[He looks at you for a long moment, considering.]
How much do you really want to know about the composition of gasoline, Korra?
no subject
Hit me with your best shot, McCrane. I want to see how much info will actually sink in.
