After some consideration I have decided that this is probably the best course of action to take. I have a couple matters to put forth for your consideration.

First, I have not yet properly introduced myself over the link and I feel it is time I do so. My name is Megatron, I come from the same universe as Soundwave who arrived here before me. I would like to assure you that I understand the difference in my personality from what many of the other Cybertronians here have come to expect of someone with my name. Keeping this in mind I wish to assure everyone that I am a peaceful individual.

My second matter is I wish to inform everyone that if anyone needs someone to speak to concerning their own safety or other's they may come to me. I am aware of the police force we have developing here and have the greatest respect for all those involved. I also recognize that there are times when going to such individuals is not an option for various reasons, it is due to this that I am making myself available to anyone who feels a need for it. I will not allow the originating faction of any individual to alter how I assist any one, and I am not restricting any organics either, all are welcome to come to me and be taken care of.

I hope this does not offend you in any way. I did not wish to over step anyone but I am aware that some people do not feel secure going to the law, perhaps because the feel they will not be considered fully due to a personal history. I wish things did not go in such a way, but it does tend to be a factor in societies that have laws. Of course I will contact you or the police force if there is a direct need to, but not having it be a looming factor may be beneficial to some.

Could you tell me what a Keyblade master is? Also, you said said 'seeing other worlds', do you mean interstellar travel?

[He'd expected as much.]

Yeah, that. Well, Keyblade wielders are supposed to protect other worlds and help others. The weapons we use are basically shaped like keys. Here, I can show you!

[He holds his hand out, summoning Wayward Wind into his grasp. The weapon appears in a flash of light, slightly curved and very much like a sword, but definitely key-like in its basic form.]

...normally we're not supposed to say that we can go to other worlds, but I figured it doesn't make much of a difference here when everyone's been pulled from other worlds...

We travel to different places using the Lanes Between.

[He looks a bit shocked but smiles at Ventus as well.]

Fascinating. It's not an entirely unknown concept for there to be a multitude of dimensions.

Ah, I told you I would share about myself, I should do so before delving further into that line of thought.

I was once a teacher at a university in Polyhex, a city on the Cybertron I am from. Unfortunately there was a lot of civil unrest, and a revolution began. The person who led the revolution was very determined to force change on everyone. He had the policy that anyone who would not join him would be offlined.

I survived the destruction of Polyhex, and by doing what I thought was right I soon ended up leading many others. The war was still ongoing when I was brought here.

[As quickly as it had appeared, Ventus let the keyblade vanish once again as he listened intently to what Megatron had to share. At least from talking to others here, he knew that there were a few versions of Cybertron, odd as it seemed.]

Off...lined? [He has a vague idea of what it means, but it's not a term he's familiar with, obviously.]

...that's terrible. The war, I mean.

He... killed, anyone who wouldn't join him.

[He has a small, sad smile on his face, as if his memories were bittersweet.]

War is a terrible thing, it takes everything it can and leaves nothing behind.

I do not seem to be fairing well at keeping our discussions on pleasant topics, I apologize.

I guess it can't be helped. Your past sounds difficult, but at least you can remember it. I can't remember anything before I was brought to the Land of Departure.

Forgive me, but I am not as well versed with organics as I probably should be, circumstances considered. Is that an uncommon occurrence?

I think so? I really haven't mentioned it much to anyone, and I've only met so many people before this.

...actually I think I've met more people here than the other places I've been.

That sounds like an interesting set of circumstances.

It is to me, but I have spent a long time surrounded by others until I arrived here. The idea of only being one of a few is not something I am personally that familiar with.

I hadn't really thought about it before, myself. But meeting other people, making more friends- I've enjoyed it. And that's at least one thing to look forward to, here.

I'm glad you have something here to look forward to while you are here. It probably does not fully compensate for what you are going through, but it may help, at least a little.

It's little enough, I think. Maybe there's a reason we're here and maybe there isn't, but knowing other people helps, either way.

Indeed it does. Perhaps the purpose of our being here is more to learn from one another than any other intended purpose.

That could be.

I can only hope we will succeed in protecting this place when the time comes, regardless of how it is to be achieved.

How long have you been here, Megatron? And what do you do around here?

[He takes a quick moment to calculate the time.] I would estimate I've been here for around two months. Currently I have been trying determine something to apply myself to, though I have been considering attempting to give lessons again.

Oh... [That both sounds long and doesn't, but he supposes being around some unfamiliar place and far from home might make it the former.]

I see. I guess it's easiest to find something similar to what you're used to doing.
