copperkitty: (Human!Cheetor: Freaking out a little)

[Cheetor is many things, and completely accepting of organics is not one of them. Sure, they're fun to talk to, but you just can't get over the fact that they're squishy balls of flesh. But hey, it's nothing he ever has to worry about, right? Right?

Okay so imagine a usually Cybertronian Cybertronian waking up one day and wondering why his berth suddenly feels so uncomfortable. Now imagine the next moment when Cheetor looks at his hands... and realizes that it's not his hands anymore. Second fastest bot in the Haven he may be, but it takes a moment for his mind to catch up.
]

Uuuuh...

[Even making a sound feels weird and unnatural.

Frantically he stands up and wobbles over to his communicator. The longer he does things, the more and more real this nightmare feels. What if it's not a nightmare? By the spark what does he do then?
]

If this is someone's idea of a joke it's not funny! Someone please tell me this is a dream, or something because I'm ahahaha I'm human!

[He reaches up and tugs at his hair hysterically.]

LOOK AT ME! Th-This... I-I can't.

What happened to me?!?!?!

[Don't mind him, he'll just sit here and verbally freak out.]

[You know, there's really nothing like waking up in the seat you fell asleep in and being completely dwarfed by said seat when you do. And not only dwarfed, but fleshy and barely clothed. (He had a coat but that was it and it was..odd. But at least he had something to cover himself with because Primus was he cold.)

There had been a moment of panic on Rung's part when he found himself in this state, unsure what had happened and why he was like this and well--if you suddenly found yourself to be a different species you'd freak out too.

Once he'd collected himself enough, he realized he needed to contact someone about this and after a bit of a struggle--because oh was this a weird body to adjust to--he managed to get his communicator and settled on his chair once more, rubbing his forehead a bit--and that's when he realized he had glasses.

Odd.]

I hate to be a bother--

[Because he had been posting a lot as of late.]

--but there...I...seem to be having a problem...

[Understatement of the century Rung.]

[Voice]

[Arcee's experience is much like a lot of people's. Waking up on the berth, finding herself rather uncomfortable. Although, to be honest, the soreness in her back was nothing compared to the sensation of her lungs filling with air. That's probably what startled her the most and as soon as she caught onto what was going on, her freakout was internal and pushed to the side prematurely. She'll feel sorry for herself later, right now her concern is on her team. If she woke up this way, who's to say no one else did?]

I need statuses on my team. Immediately.

[That was it. Arcee kept it to voice for now, not wanting anyone to see what had happened to her. This was an embarrassment, that's what it was. You wouldn't believe how thankful she was that she decided to spend the night in her room in Prima's temple. At the same time, though, it meant she was a good distance away from everyone else, and getting back to them wouldn't be as easy now that she's without an alt mode...

First hearing about Ratchet missing, now this. Despite the calm tone that was in her voice, it'd be a lie to say that she has everything under control. Although the message was for her team, her worry for them made her rush and nothing's been locked. Oops.]

[Voice]

[Someone woke on the wrong side of the planet. Nothing more annoying that waking up with...stuff all over your skin, so much it was wonder he didn't overheat. But no that wasn't the worst of it. Now he was small--compared to a krogan, at least. Everything about this body felt inferior, weak. And most of all he wasn't sure whether he should seep or not (the planet seemed to have thrown his sleep schedule out of whack.)

This was just a great day, he should share it with all of you. The former krogan-now-turned-whatever-Rocket-was now appears on the network. Anyone can notice how softer his voice sounds.]

I didn't think the universe could get crazier than it was. But even without you, Shepard, this hunk of trash proves me wrong.

Anything else you want to try, you big damn hunk of rock? Why not drop more geth? Hell, why not turn Garrus into a freakshow too?

Anyone who wants to clue me in on what's going on, be my guest.

[The phrasing of that request sounds more like a challenge. Go one, make him even angrier, he dares you.]

2 [Action]

[Amidst all of the strange body-changing, there is one resident who seems to have an inability to care.

Hopefully, no one was going to try and get into the Nexic Temple when all of the changing starts, because the entrance is currently being guarded by a giant, three-headed dog.

Although... "guarding" probably isn't the right word for it, since it is lying down with all six of its eyes closed, huffing occasional in a snore. Perhaps anyone with an eye for detail will notice that each head is different, and come to a conclusion as to who this used to be; the one furthest on the right has light, fluffy blue fur with ice clinging to it here and there; the one on the left has short, rough hair, colored a dull violet, and there are red, bony protrusions on its ears and jaw.

The middle-most head is, oddly enough, is rather normal looking, aside from the giant bony ridge protruding on its muzzle, which seems to be constantly grinning. Other than that, it seems almost like an average, black-haired German Shepherd, its tongue occasionally lolling out in its sleep.

Now the main question here is, is it friendly? And do you dare approach to try and find out?]

4. [VIDEO]

[behold the Irish Wolfhound. a grand, majestic specimen of canine kind, and this adult sample easily the weight of an adult human himself. note the fur, a mixture of grays and blues, not usually seen in the breed but here...

here...

okay Irish Wolfhounds probably aren't supposed to have red eyes, either. or be pawing at the device, looking like it's /trying/ to say something but all that's coming out are mangled 'AWRAWRAWWRRR's. one might call it outright distressed, or at the very least, anxious.

they usually don't have black glyphs on their shoulders, either, but that's not exactly odd around here.

the wolfhound stares at the camera a moment, tilting its - his - head, emitting another short whine...then promptly paws at it again, baring its teeth just slightly.

(my, those are nice teeth it has.)

another 'waaawrrrraaaawr' before something catches its attention - beeping from the side. immediately, the dogs' head rises, looking at something off-screen. after another moment it looks back at the camera, cocks its head again...then makes a rather distinctive face of unhappiness before reaching to /grab/ the camera with its mouth.

be glad dog breath doesn't transmit through these things, you guys. and be glad the device shuts off a moment later, apparently jostled just right.]

Because you know how Whirl can't resist tentacles.

[Locked FROM Skids.]

[Whirl is in his quarters, which you might at first think is an armory. Pretty damn close. Thankfully, Megatronus doesn't make him clean his room or keep pins in his grenades or other annoying things. ]

[Behold Whirl arming up. He likes options, okay? ]

So.  Hear we got us some undead problems.

['Scuse him while he racks a shotgun.]

You see Skids, you let me know.  Or the usual: slavering, tentacles, undead sounds like GRARGGFSF, that sorta thing.

[Because Skids is a pal, and Whirl will gladly shoot him in the head.  For, uh, for the greater good?]

[Locked to Skids]

Hey, Mr. Conveniently Lost Memory.  Just a little trivia.

I hear I have a positively scrumptious spark.

Ding ding ding, that's the dinnerbell.

[The broadcast starts out playful enough, from the inside of Blurr's cab as he is driving home through the junkyard. The view looks backward, where some distance away a second object is trying to keep up.]

Hm? Someone thinks they can outrun me in a race? [Blurr sounds amused; he hasn’t had a proper race in some time.] All you had to do was ask! Who is this?

[Except the object has disappeared.]

...not a race, Blurr...

[The voice sounds like Skids's voice, but not. Whatever it is, it causes Blurr to slow down for a moment in recognition.]

Ski--

[He's cut off as something slams into the side of his cab. The camera goes wild for a moment as first Blurr is bowled over and then starts to transform, metal scraping over metal while oddly alien noises howl and screech in the background. There's a brief flash of something blue and Skids-shaped, but there's also tentacles lashing and a sudden jolt in vision as Blurr starts to leaps out of the way and is snagged.]

Skids, whatareyou--!?

[Then, the video goes to static.]

[A moment later, it returns, some distance away from where it last cut out. The Skids-creature can be seen far off, and moving further away on some other quest.]

[The camera holds on this for a moment, before it is shakily swung around and the video goes black again. The sound is still on and Blurr’s shaky voice can be heard. The last time he asked for help using the comm. link Starscream tried to take advantage and kill him. Blurr’s not so inclined to ask for help right now, besides, there’s more pressing issues that need to be taken care off first.]

I r-require everyone’s attention. Something happened to Skids. I think he is..I…I’m not sure. He looked like that a creature he described to me once, a spark eater.

He’s dangerous.

[And that’s all he’s going to say for now, talking would be easier if the world stopped spinning]

[Locked to Saber/ video]

[The video goes on, this time to reveal the face of a human male with bright blue eyes, despite that the transmission clearly claims to still originate from Blurr.]

I think.

I think I'm going to need some help.

[ooc: All of Blurr's replies will come an hour later once he's at Vector's, fully dressed. Feel free to visit him :3]

6th web [Video]

[When the screen pops on, there's a noticeably naked human sleeping in a berth somewhere. Around her and hung on the walls by blue webbing are all sorts of items and projects in process.  The webbing really is the only indication of who the sleeping human might have been..

As the link keeps running, she shivers a little in her sleep and curls into a ball. Or as much of one as a full adult human female can anyway. Eventually she starts to stir and bleary dark  brown eyes stare back at everyone. It seems a certain widow doesn't realize just what happened to her yet. She reaches out to shut something off with her hand and pauses to stare at said hand.
]

What the hell. If this is some sort of sick joke, I'm killing someone.

VIDEO | trion's temple

[So, remember that awesome set of rooms and that creepy Acolyte with the blanket over its head? Yeah, that's the place Kagerou moved into.]

[And here it is again. Complete with Blanket-Headed-Acolyte.]

[... plus one small, equally-blanketed form curled up in one of Kay's beanbag chairs. After a few moments of fumbling around with the Link, a face pokes out of the blanket.]

Ah...

[Wellp. It would seem there's some kind of poetic irony in the Haven. After telling two of his friends they weren't who they said they were, look who's suddenly not himself either.]

[Yep. It's Kagerou. Or it sounds like him, anyway. If he were a lot more hopeful than usual.]

... I guess it's not so bad. Is it?

I'm alive now, and no one can say otherwise.

[So this is what it feels like to be alive.

As a doll, Four's interaction with the world is muted, dulled because he has no nerves or living bits that allow him to truly feel things. But now? He can feel the bed he's sitting on, and he can actually feel temperature! He carefully inspects his fingers and wiggles his toes. Wow! It feels so strange to have lungs and other sorts of organs!

A glance in a mirror causes him to do a double take though. Four has never truly attached gender to himself, so therefore has never been bothered with thinking about it. Imagine his surprise when he sees a clearly female face staring back. Further inspection says that yes, he is indeed a girl. What does this mean?

Anyway, Four is definitely announcing this. He excitedly turns on his device and waves out at the network. Look at him! He's a human and a girl, this is a very odd day but it's exciting. That idea that his human body is capable of speech never occurs to him.
]

I'm human!

I want to know what food is like! And water. And wind!

Can someone show me what it's like to be alive?
