You would think that at first. Then you realize you can't kill them, they feel no pain, and setting them on fire does shit because they're made of a hard wood that burns slowly. So, just imagine a whole army of soldiers, on fire, coming at you, and not matter how many times you keep shooting at them they're not slowing down.

  Somewhere along the way, they morphed into scraplets.  Thank Knock Out for that, I think.  And those?  Are legitimately terrifying, to be bluntly honest.  They're . . . they're like . . . I saw a television show on an informative channel once about ants that can eat humans alive.  Just swarm right over them and consume them.  For Cybertronians, that what scraplets are.  Only they're not confined to ditches or whatever keeps those ants from taking over whole areas of land.  If you find even one in your base, you're pretty much fragged, because there's never just one.  You're best to abandon the place and . . . "nuke it from orbit" as I've heard humans put it.  And hope you got them all.

As for wooden soldiers being a threat... Well for starters they're made out of hard wood so setting them on fire is a bad idea since they will burn very slowly. As a result, you'll still have an army coming at you even though they are on fire. They don't feel pain, so inflicting any kind of wound doesn't phase them. And they can easily put themselves back together if you do manage pull off some limbs.
