[Voice] PSA and a Plan
Hey uh guys? Those "explosives" that Prism asshole was talking about?
All a fake. I opened Drift up and took a look and it turned out he was bluffing. I hope that's worth a little peace of mind or... whatever. From what I could see, it's just like a tag. Nothing intrusive. I couldn't remove it, but it's not dangerous.
On that note:
Teddie and I were kind of talking about having a party of sorts. Like kind of a karaoke-movie-drink-yourself-dumb extravaganza. I was thinking maybe when Casa De Vandal is finished I could host it there? I still have to fix everything, but I have most of the equipment.
Thoughts? Ideas? Can I get a 'Hell yeah'?

That's... good. You're good at that kind of. Nice stuff. I'd tell him myself but my way usually involves a lot of the word 'fuck' which kind of neutralizes any good I could be doing.
[She's got tough love.]
Uh. Well. You know. I've been thinking. And I don't really. Know if it's the same for him but. Ah. He means a lot to me. I never had many [Any.] good friends where I'm from-
So... uh. Anyways my point is. Humans are pretty fragile? So. If in the off chance something.
Happens to me? Don't like. Let him do anything stupid, okay? You two are meant to be, so I know you're sort of. Number one go-to-guy to take good care of him.
[Is it a little self-centered to think he would? Maybe. Perhaps he's not quite as attached to her as she is to him, but she won't underestimate his apparent desire to sacrifice himself or put himself in mortal danger at the first chance he gets.]
[Action]
Tell him in your own way Vandal, that's how it'll feel most sincere. The more of us who do, the more he'll believe it.
[His voice is gentle and kind, and only gets more so after your next words. Worry tightens his face: fatalism was really going around the people he cared about recently.]
Vandal...
[And now he just wants to hug you, but barring that, he'll reach out and brush a thumb over your shoulder, if you don't discourge him.]
Yes I will. I promise to take care of him. ... Will you do the same for me? [Because Wing's already failed there twice before now.]
[Action]
[She wants to tell Wing that she'd probably just break him somehow if he were truly left in her care. This time was a fluke. But she doesn't.
And she lets him touch. She would actually fucking love a hug, though she's not about to ask. Looking more pathetic than she already does isn't in her plans for today.]
Anyways. I uh. Do you wanna take a walk or something?
Re: [Action]
Thank you.
[Wing has faith in how much Vandal obviously cares Drift, that's enough for him.]
We can sure. If you'd like. [He smiles, letting his fingers slide gently over her back.] May I escort you? The view might be better from up here.
[Action]
Sure.
[She's definitely getting used to these guys. Though the inherent gentleness still comes as a surprise.]
[Action]
Well then...
[He grins. It's not like he's done this before, but that's part of the appeal. After a moment of considering the best approach, Wing stands briefly to return his Great Sword to its place. Then he descends to one knee beside her, tucking his bent arm against his chassis, and while he's at it, making a note to pin his audials back in case Vandal decides to climb that far. She's got her choice now, a relatively relaxed ride against his chassis or a more open one with a better view on his shoulder.]
[What's that saying?] Your carriage awaits...?
[Action]
So she scales him with a startling ease. Something she was used to with her job back home. Choosing to squeeze herself down on his shoulder. One arm resting between the helm-flare points and over the crest. ]
Uhm. All aboard?
[Action] Yuuta needs to make a cameo here just to say: "Robot, yer doin' it right Vandal!"
[He remains patiently still as she ascends, unsurprised that she'd pick the highest perch.]
Hold tight.
[Then he rises with ease, making sure to keep his chassis mostly upright, his wingpanels shifting for balance.]
Destination requests, milady?
[Really, you probably shouldn't ask where he's getting this kind of talk from.]
[Action] hkjgfdskhghjfsajgh YES
Hmmm. Wherever you like best. I've only ever been to Vector and Solus' temples, so maybe somewhere new?
[Action]
[He picks that direction, which will eventually take them out of the Junk Pile and into prettier surroundings, should they walk that for long.]
So what were you saying about a party earlier?
[Action]
[Because that sounds great, actually.]
Oh yeah. Just thinking about throwing a shin-dig. A hootenanny if you will. A lot of hoot. Just a little bit of nanny? More like an excuse to get a bunch pf robots drunk and watch movies.
[Action]
[There's a gentle sway as he walks, natural hydraulics and stabilizers working harder to smooth out his gait. His plating is warm, the shoulder nacelle putting off a comforting heat and soft hum.]
[He chuckles.] Vandal, I learn new variations of human speech from you every time we talk. You'll have to fill me on what 'PF' means though... [Seriously, that could stand for a lot of things and he hopes "Personal Foul" isn't one of them.]
As it stands though it sounds like a lot of fun! Maybe I can actually drink more than a little at this one... I'd love to attend, if you need any help, let me know?
[Action] oh that was a tytpo I didn't caaatch /sobs /gently retcons
[That's nice. Warm. She can feel the static buzz of his energy field. It doesn't do much for a human other than make her hair a bit frizzy.]
Actually, being able to transport a whole bunch of that energy stuff you guys like so much over to my place would be open for help...
[Action] LOL It was Vandal so I just assumed it meant "pretty fucking" & she forgot the "awesome"
[He climbs one of the larger mounds of junk to where they have a decent view of the Junk Pile, the rolling hills of Alpha Trion's quadrant stretching out beyond it.]
Energon? You mentioned 'drunk robots' so I assume you mean high grade yes?
[Action] LOL that is actually a pretty safe assumption with her XD
[She taps her hand on his helm, her tone teasing.]
Yes, that exactly.
[Action]
So all this wide open space doesn't seem strange to you? Natural gravity and air?
[His head tilts until the corner of a bright gold optic comes into view, squinty thanks to his grin.]
Oh course giant goofy robots are totally normal.
I'll see what I can do about the high grade, but Vector provided it last time. We may need to ask him again. How many do you think will attend?
[Action]
It does. But I haven't really had much time to take it all in. When I do it's just... overwhelming. Kind of scary.
[She laughs, catching his gaze.]
Of course they are! Shit, I don't know where you guys were all my life.
Hmm, sounds good. Not sure, as many as I can get. It was an open invite. probably not as many as your party.
[Hmm. She experimentally slips a hand behind one of his helm flares into a hard-to-reach spot and scratches there idly. It works on Drift, why not his his boyfriend?]
[Action]
I can relate, to a certain degree. Though I began life on Cybertron I spent that last few centuries on a remote colony world in a city hidden underground. Probably bigger than a starship but still just as isolated and enclosed.
[Wing joins her in laughter; it's a touch infectious and after the earlier pall, a welcome sound.]
It was destined to be, obviously! Sorry it took us long though. [His optics squints in what might be a wink. It's hard to tell, given you can only see half his face.]
Have you put in a request to Vector yet?
There were...a surprising number of people at that party. I think it just goes to show how much people need the commraderire and joy that coming together socially can bring.
[Wing's a little surprised at the gesture, but it's not unwelcome. Vandal's hands are small and delicate, warm on the interlocking plating. He tips his head so it's easier for her to reach, a soft chirr under his breath, the note echoed by the pitch of his nacelles.]
[Action]
[Hearing only positive response, she settles and continues scratching.]
Yeah, I think I can forgive everyone's tardiness just this once.
And no, I haven't yet. It's kind of intimidating to talk to those guys.
[There's a shift and her hand works it's way down to his jaw and chin.]
Yeah. I wasn't really a social person before this. But I guess my desire to hang out with a bunch of drunk, giant metal guys overrides my social ineptitude.
[Action]
[It's pretty impossible to keep up the grim overtone with all the attention he's getting though.]
We'll try to be more punctual. At least you have personal comm frequencies now.
[His frame shifts under her as he shrugs softly.] I can see that, but Vector has actually been very interesting to talk to, and it's been easy enough for me. Though I can see how size alone might be an intimidating factor.
But, you may not even have to speak to him directly. When I requested permission to have the party on his temple grounds, I left a message with an Acolyte and got the response the same way. I didn't even ask for the high grade, the building, the other resources or the Acolyte's help. Vector just granted those on his own!
[He smiles, because he takes this as a good sign.] Maybe you have more good reason to be social now? Aside from drunk robots that is.
[Action]
[She's glad, briefly, that nothing too bad has happened between factions here. It's been mostly outsiders that have caused issues.]
Mmmhmm. Good. I expect that much.
[Yeah, you're getting the full head scritches, Wing.]
Well, I suppose I can look into it, then. And yeah, I like you lot a bit better than I like most humans where I'm from.
[She rests her chin between the helm flares, liking the way his armor warmed comfortably.]
You know. You and Drift are a lot alike. 'Cept you smile more.
[But you're both dorks.]
[Action]
[War in general is a horrible thing... but when you only have Yourself to blame, it's worse.]
[But oh, yes, scrtiches are good, and comforting, which makes that subject easily bearable. He'll just lean into that a bit.]
I could ask, but I've done so once already. And it wouldn't hurt to converse with Vector more. He's really quite interesting.
[Fanboy much Wing? And he responds to that contact with a gentle nudge of his cheekplate, something like a giant nuzzle.]
Drift is...still learning to smile again. The course of my life has been darkened by less misfortune than his.
[Your dorks, apparently?]
[Action]
If you would? That would be great.
[She had found out some things about Drift, but she felt like she was kind of at the tip of the iceburg.]
I can tell. I would think you of all people would be able to bring that out of him.
[A soft shrug.]
But there is a cheat-button, y'know.
[Action]
[A chuckle.] Silly, I meant you should really try talking to him. Or at least leave a message with the Acolyte. Who knows, maybe I've used up my highgrade stipend for the month."
[A very big iceberg.]
I try to. Still, it's a rare sight when he smiles. I'm...also at the center of one of some of the more painful memories. But we're both trying to get past that.
[His brow lifts under his helm and he glances at you with a curious optic.]
Cheat-button? ...How so?
[Even if he guesses, he's still gonna make you say it.]
[Action]
[Ahh yes. Subject change. Good. She grins and gestures.]
Yeah if you get your fingers up under his side joinings or arm joints...
[Yes, she fully intends to sic Wing on him in this manner exactly.]
It's definitely hilarious.
